Our Onboarding team creates and builds our relationships with merchants. Together, we’ve helped big brands, local stores and neighborhood restaurants do over €15 billion’s worth of business through our platform. What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will focus on merchant data validation and onboarding compliance, ensuring that all merchant documentation and information submitted during onboarding are accurate, complete, and aligned with regulatory requirements. You will become a key point of contact for onboarding-related processes while collaborating closely with the Sales and Merchant Operations team.
Day-to-day in this role you’ll:
- Review and validate merchant documentation and business information to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal requirements
- Monitor onboarding progress and maintain accurate case tracking in Monday.com and internal systems
- Communicate across multiple teams within the organization via phone & text to coordinate a seamless merchant onboarding and service experience
- Learn and master internal systems, tools, and workflows to support onboarding effectively
- Maintain accurate records of merchant communication, onboarding status, and follow-up actions
- Identify trends or recurring issues and share insights with the broader team

You’ll do well at Wolt if you:
- Have the charm, empathy, and honesty to build strong relationships
- Are used to high-performance, high-expectation cultures
- Take a hands-on, proactive approach at problem solving and seeing things through
- Have fluent and persuasive written and spoken communication skills in English and German
- Can adapt quickly in a rapidly changing market
- Have around 1 year of experience in onboarding, partner operations, merchant support, or similar roles
- Deliver accurate, on-time work within SOPs while maintaining strong CRM hygiene and data quality
- Are detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple merchant accounts and tasks simultaneously
Nice to have
- Experience with Salesforce, CRM tools, merchant dashboards, or Monday.com
- Familiarity with food delivery, grocery delivery, or marketplace platforms
- Basic understanding of Austrian or German legal entity structures and business documentation
- Experience with onboarding, compliance or document verification processes

We offer an attractive salary starting at 28.831,74€ p.a. (40h/week) which is adjusted and increased depending how well you go through the process.

Compensation
The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications. Please note, that the starting pay may vary if the candidate does not fully meet the expectations as outlined in this job posting.
The salary below is the monthly salary range for this position.
