As a Retail Operations Excellence Specialist, you’ll play a key role in improving operational quality across priority retail partners in the Scandinavian countries and Iceland. Your core mission will be to improve Perfect Order Fulfillment Ratio (POFR) by reducing unfulfilled items, merchant cancellations and other store-level reliability challenges. You’ll act as the operational bridge between stores, country teams and regional stakeholders, turning data, root-cause insights and in-store observations into concrete actions that improve customer experience and partner performance.
What you'll be doing
You'll work closely with Account Managers, regional teams and retail partners to improve operational performance across priority merchants and venues in the Scandinavian countries and Iceland.
Day-to-day in this role you'll:
- Performance Management: Track and analyse Perfect Order Fulfillment Ratio and key drivers such as unfulfilled items, merchant cancellations, substitutions and store-level reliability. Identify root causes and turn insights into clear action plans with partners and Account Managers.
- Merchant Reviews & Follow-up: Lead recurring operational reviews with priority merchants, document agreed actions and follow up until improvements are sustained.
- In-Store Operations & Training: Conduct store visits, picker coaching and staff training to improve substitutions, inventory freshness and picking routines.
- Operational Improvement Projects: Support rollouts of operational tools and processes, including substitution guidance, picker workflows, inventory improvements and Merchant App Lite updates. Run pilots, capture learnings and share recommendations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Cluster Heads, Regional Retail Operations, Product, Support, Integrations and Account Managers to improve availability, data accuracy and operational reliability.
- Knowledge Sharing: Document best practices, wins and recurring blockers, and share learnings across markets to scale effective ways of working.
Our humble expectations
- You have 3-5 years of experience in retail operations, supply chain, account management, e-commerce or a similar hands-on operational role.
- You have experience working across multiple markets or countries, ideally within the Nordic region.
- You have a strong analytical mindset and are comfortable working with data tools such as Excel, Looker or similar.
- You are able to identify operational root causes, connect data with field observations and turn findings into clear, practical actions.
- You have strong stakeholder management and communication skills, and can build trust with store managers, regional managers, merchant operational counterparts and internal teams.
- You are hands-on, proactive and comfortable working both on site with merchants and cross-functionally with country and regional teams.
- You enjoy structured follow-through and take ownership of making sure actions lead to measurable improvement.
- You are fluent in English. Fluency in one or more Scandinavian languages is a strong plus.
What success looks like
You’ll help improve Perfect Order Fulfillment Ratio across priority merchants and venues through:
- Reduction in unfulfilled items and merchant cancellations.
- Improvement in operational performance and substitution rates in targeted merchants and stores.
- A strong rhythm of priority venue reviews, store visits, training sessions and active follow-up.
- High-quality execution of operational action plans, pilots and rollouts.
- Trusted partnerships with Account Managers and merchant stakeholders, shown through strong follow-through and repeated adoption of agreed operational improvements.
