What you’ll be doing

As Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the local sales strategy for our ads and promotions business. You’ll build strong partnerships with merchants, negotiate impactful deals, and ensure sustainable revenue growth. This role combines commercial strategy, leadership, and hands-on sales execution in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Day-to-day in this role you’ll:

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive revenue growth for our merchant ads business
  • Design and improve sales processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Build and manage strong relationships with restaurants, retailers, and brands
  • Negotiate and close advertising investment deals focused on revenue growth, product adoption, and customer engagement
  • Be directly accountable for achieving ads and promotions revenue targets
  • Motivate and guide the local account management team to exceed revenue and customer retention goals
  • Collaborate with central ads, marketing, and commercial teams to align on objectives and execution
  • Analyze sales performance metrics and regularly report on ROI and key trends to leadership

Our humble expectations 

  • Proven experience in sales or business development and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with results in ads and promotions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Economics, or a related field
  • Fluent in Croatian and English
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present to senior executives and clients
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for decision-making
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on creating win-win solutions
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Build trusted relationships with merchants and cross-functional partners, influencing decisions with sharp commercial judgment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
