New

Marketing Intern – New Verticals & Retail Partnerships

Berlin, Germany

About Wolt

At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.

Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.

Location: Germany (Berlin)

Duration: 12 weeks | September – December 2026

Hours: 20 hours per week (flexible scheduling)

Level: Intern (final year student)

Wolt is one of Europe's fastest-growing tech companies, on a mission to make cities better places to live by building a platform that connects people with the best of their neighborhoods — whether it's food, groceries, or retail. Operating in over 25 countries, Wolt's success is driven by a deep focus on customer experience, local relevance, and a culture that empowers people to take ownership and make an impact.

Our New Verticals & Retail Partnerships marketing team shapes how we work with non-grocery retail partners — from national chains to local independents — turning co-marketing opportunities into real customer growth. This internship puts you right at the heart of that work.

What you'll be doing

We're looking for a curious, data-driven marketing intern to take real ownership of two hyperlocal partner projects. Rather than following a set playbook, you'll be expected to dig into the problem, identify what scalable and impactful looks like, and help bring your solution to life — with the support of an experienced team behind you.

These projects sit at the intersection of marketing strategy, partner collaboration, and operational thinking. You'll need to be comfortable with ambiguity, able to back your ideas with data, and motivated by delivering work that has a tangible business impact.

Day-to-day, you'll:

  • Define the problem, map the opportunity, and propose data-informed approaches
  • Research best practices and gather insights to shape your solutions
  • Develop frameworks, processes, and materials that can scale beyond the pilot
  • Collaborate closely with commercial, account management, and brand teams
  • Test, measure, and iterate based on results
  • Present progress, findings, and recommendations at key checkpoints

Our humble expectations

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field — and in your final year of study
  • Genuine interest in marketing, retail, or platform businesses
  • A data-driven mindset — you use numbers to inform decisions, not just to report them
  • A structured thinker who can turn ambiguity into a clear plan or process
  • Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and managing your own time
  • Curious, proactive, and not afraid to take initiative with limited guidance
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) — essential for working with our international teams; German is a strong plus for engaging with local partners
  • Ability to work on-site / in office as part of the team in Berlin
  • Eligible to work part-time (20 hrs/week) under German employment regulations

What we offer

  • Real ownership, real impact: Your projects have a direct line to how Wolt scales its partner marketing — this isn't busywork
  • Learn while you earn: Paid, flexible work designed to fit around your academic schedule
  • Career-ready experience: Practical exposure to cross-functional marketing in a fast-moving tech environment
  • Academic credit eligibility: Depending on your university, this role may qualify for degree credit (check with your institution)
  • Pathway to future roles: High performers will be considered for full-time opportunities in 2027 — we hire for the long term
  • A team that invests in you: Regular 1:1s with your manager, formal check-ins at week 1, 6, and 12, and a genuine commitment to your development
  • Hybrid/flexible working and a dog-friendly office culture

Next steps

If you're excited about building something from scratch, working with real partners, and being part of an ambitious team at a company that's redefining local commerce — we'd love to hear from you.

After submitting your application, our Talent Acquisition team will review your profile. If it looks like a good fit, you'll go through a short interview process with the hiring manager and team. The process is designed to be transparent, efficient, and give you a real sense of what working at Wolt is like.

Please note that we do not accept applications sent by email — submit your application through our careers website.
