About the Job

As an Account Representative at Woodruff Sawyer, you will have the opportunity to work on multiple accounts as part of a larger broker team. Your primary responsibility will be to support the book of business and account team in developing strong relationships with clients and carriers. You will play a crucial role in handling day-to-day client inquiries, analyzing client information, and assisting in the management and transfer of risk.

What You'll Do

  • Support the development of relationships with clients and carriers
  • Respond to daily client inquiries and requests
  • Learn from our experienced Account Managers and assist in managing a book of business
  • Proactively kick-off pre renewal process by gathering loss runs and creating loss summary
  • Prepare materials and analytics for client renewal strategy presentations
  • Execute renewal tasks involving billing, certificates, binder and policy procurement
  • Track foreign local admitted invoices and policies by owning communications with local brokers
  • Handle post-renewal servicing activities to include endorsement and audit processing
  • Manage statement of values and equipment schedules to reflect any changes throughout the term
  • Review contracts and issue on-demand certificates of insurance for clients

Experience & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of related insurance brokerage experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • College degree preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Required to obtain the applicable insurance license(s) within 90 days of hire

Compensation: Anticipated salary between $51,000 – $85,000. Salary offered will be dependent upon geography, experience, and expertise of the candidate. 

This position is eligible to participate in an incentive program to earn additional compensation with a target equivalent to 8% of salary annually, based on individual and Company performance.
