Position Overview
Bermello Ajamil, a Woolpert Company (BA) is hiring a Civil Engineering CADD Designer to join our dynamic Site Civil Team at our Coral Gables, FL office. This position is a hybrid position and can also accommodate candidates that live in the Broward area and wish to work out of BA's Fort Lauderdale office.
We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.
What You Will Do:
As a Civil Engineering CADD Designer at BA, you will:
- Design and create site layout plans in alignment with client requirements and BA standards.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs.
- Work with project management teams to identify impediments and develop/implement solutions to overcome obstacles.
- Perform site due diligence assessments and compile data and reports.
- Able to perform occasional field work, frequent local travel, and/or overnight travel (10% of the time). Minimum requirements:
What You Will Bring:
- Must be mentally and physically capable of performing all essential duties required of the position.
- Must have above average verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external relationships.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Must be able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Must be able to read, write and interpret reports, business correspondence and procedural documentation.
- Must be able to apply mathematical concepts of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
- Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations (fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions) and apply to practical situations.
- Must have a BA/BS degree or four (4) years related experience.
- Experience in Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Strong interest and working knowledge in hydrology and stormwater management.
- Proven ability to multi-task, appropriately prioritize workflow, and complete tasks.

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Pay Range
$52,000 - $86,600 USD
