Position Overview
Bermello Ajamil, a Woolpert Company (BA) is hiring an experienced Architect to join our dynamic Architecture Team at our Coral Gables office. The candidate will be working on multiple projects of varying size and complexities and will be responsible for preparing drawings for permitting and bidding. This is a full-time onsite position.
We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.
What You Will Do:
As a Project Architect/Designer, you will:
- Perform work on all phases of various architectural projects including design development, preparation of presentation drawings and specifications, design review, coordination and correlation of construction drawings.
- Prepare schematics, design development and construction documents. Develop, modify and review production drawings and edit project narratives and specifications.
- Research materials to determine appropriate selection for project.
- Plan, coordinate and administer projects from the initial programming stages all the way through to construction administration.
- Review construction submittals and assist project manager in construction administration.
- Analyze client problems and develop architectural solutions to those problems.
What You Will Bring:
- Florida Architectural License preferred
- LEED certification is preferred.
- 5-year bachelor's or master’s degree in architecture.
- 8-10 years of job-related experience, specifically in the design of healthcare facilities.
- Demonstrated experience using AutoCAD, REVIT, Sketchup, and PhotoShop software.
- Demonstrated ability to engage effectively and confidently with diverse personalities and communication styles, while fostering and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Time management skills.

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Pay Range
$101,200 - $151,800 USD
