Position Overview
Bermello Ajamil, a Woolpert Company (BA) is hiring an Architectural Designer to join our dynamic Architecture team at its Coral Gables, FL office. This position reports to the lead project architect and is responsible for managing specific technical aspects of design projects and providing professional consultations. This includes assisting in the research, plan development, design, and administration of architectural projects for clients. This role builds on your foundational skills, allowing you to lead small to medium complex projects independently while continuing your professional development through active involvement in industry organizations.

What You Will Do:
- Assists project architect in the preparation of construction documents and specifications using computer assisted design software and equipment.
- Assists in the preparation and production of presentation materials, models and material boards.
- Assists in the preparation and production of various studies and reports.
- Maintains and updates resource material library.
- Meets with product representatives to obtain latest specifications and product information.
- Prepares scale drawings and assists in the development of contract documents.
- Contributes to cost estimation processes, enhancing your understanding of project budgeting and financial implications.
- Schedules technical support staff engaged in the preparation of drawings and specification documents.
- May coordinate technical staff project responsibilities.
- Participates in firm-wide quality initiatives.
- Depending on project needs, may perform a phase manager role in complex projects as needed.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture and four (4) years related experience.
- Able to read, analyze and interpret general business documents, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
- Florida Architectural License preferred, not required
- LEED accreditation preferred
- Must enjoy collaborating with a design team
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch-up and other design applications
- Advanced-level competency in Microsoft Office Suite

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Pay Range
$59,200 - $98,800 USD
