This isn’t a VP job in name only.
You’ll be the senior marketing leader for North America, steering both our Enterprise and Community Financials segments. That means leading the full-stack: brand, ABM, demand gen, field, content, digital. It’s all yours to shape and scale. You’ll partner closely with sales, own pipeline outcomes, and lead a scrappy, high-velocity team that knows how to move.

What You’ll Do

Strategy + Execution

  • Architect and drive GTM for both Enterprise and Community segments in North America.

  • Own the marketing engine across the funnel—from brand to demand.

  • Align closely with sales to prioritize accounts and craft high-conversion plays.

Demand Gen & ABM

  • Lead full-funnel ABM campaigns that move the C-suite.

  • Run and refine a high-performance demand engine—data, signals, creative, all of it.

  • Build journeys that personalize and resonate, not just automate.

Brand & Narrative

  • Bring the Backbase story to life regionally in a way that cuts through the noise.

  • Evolve our global narrative into a sharp, distinct voice that lands with North American buyers.

Team Leadership

  • Build and lead a modern marketing team that moves with purpose and pace.

  • Be a hands-on leader who’s not afraid to roll up your sleeves.

  • Create a culture of trust, experimentation, and ownership.

Modern Tactics, Real Results

  • Think beyond the usual: influencer collabs, dark social plays, C-suite dinners, personalized DMs.

  • Collaborate across Product Marketing, Ops, Enablement to maximize every motion.


What You Bring

  • 10+ years in B2B marketing leadership, including 3+ years at VP level in high-growth settings.

  • Deep experience in fintech or enterprise software—ideally both.

  • A track record of owning pipeline, not just influence metrics.

  • Strategic and scrappy: you know how to scale, and you’re not afraid to start.

  • A modern marketing mindset with tools like Salesforce, 6sense, and AI baked into your workflow.

  • Clarity, curiosity, and a creative edge that sets you apart.
