Responsibilities

We’re hiring a Director of Product Management to lead Workato’s Platform, Security, and Enterprise Readiness strategy.

This is a high-impact role focused on building the foundation that unlocks enterprise adoption at scale—from secure deployments and governance to compliance, observability, and global infrastructure.

You will define how large, regulated, and global organizations confidently adopt Workato for mission-critical workloads.

This role sits at the core of Workato’s next phase of growth.

  • You will unlock new enterprise and regulated markets by building platform capabilities that meet stringent security and compliance requirements.

  • You will eliminate platform-level deal blockers that slow down or prevent large enterprise adoption.

  • You will accelerate onboarding and time-to-value for customers adopting Workato at scale.

  • You will enable customers to confidently run mission-critical workflows on the platform.

 In this role, you will also be responsible to:

  • Identity, Access & Security

    • You will define and scale authentication capabilities, including SAML, SCIM, 2FA, and domain management, to support enterprise identity standards.

    • You will lead the evolution of authorization models, including RBAC 2.0 and fine-grained access controls across projects and shared assets.

    • You will drive secure credential management through integrations with enterprise secrets and vault systems such as AWS, Azure, and HashiCorp.

    • You will ensure strong platform security through encryption, data retention controls, and IAM-based access mechanisms.

  • Enterprise Governance

    • You will build governance models that enable centralized control across distributed teams using AHQ and multi-workspace management.

    • You will define and enhance environment lifecycle management to support Dev, Test, and Prod workflows aligned with enterprise SDLC practices.

    • You will deliver the Enterprise Command Center as a unified control plane for visibility, governance, and capacity planning across the platform.

    • Ensure AI features ship with the same security posture as core platform capabilities

  • Observability & Auditability

    • You will define and scale platform observability, including centralized logging, audit trails, and debug trace capabilities.

    • You will expand log streaming integrations to SIEM tools such as Splunk, Datadog, and cloud storage platforms.

    • You will drive adoption of OpenTelemetry standards to enable enterprise-grade monitoring and tracing.

    • You will enable API traffic monitoring and anomaly detection to strengthen platform security and operational visibility.

  • Developer Platform & APIs

    • You will expand developer APIs to enable programmatic management of workspaces, assets, and platform configurations.

    • You will support enterprise CI/CD workflows through automation of deployments and environment management.

    • You will define secure and scalable API access models with fine-grained permissions for enterprise use cases.

  • Infrastructure & Deployment

    • You will lead the strategy for private cloud deployments, including single-tenant environments within customer AWS networks.

    • You will drive expansion into new data centers to meet data residency and sovereignty requirements.

    • You will define and deliver cross-region backup and disaster recovery capabilities for enterprise resilience.

    • You will ensure AI capabilities are available across regions to support global enterprise adoption.

  • Compliance & Enterprise Expansion

    • You will partner with compliance and security teams to support certifications such as SOC2, ISO, PCI, and HIPAA.

    • You will translate compliance requirements into scalable product capabilities that reduce friction during enterprise onboarding.

    • You will position compliance and security capabilities as strategic enablers for market expansion and deal acceleration.

  • Customer Management and Deal Support

    • Serve as the product leader in enterprise security reviews, Infosec questionnaires, architecture deep dives

    • Influence customer and prospect CISOs, IT, Compliance and Security leaders at Enterprises procuring Workato platform

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

  • You bring 10+ years of product management experience, with a strong focus on platform, security, or infrastructure products.

  • You have experience building and scaling enterprise SaaS platforms used by large organizations.

  • You have deep familiarity with identity and access systems, including SAML, SCIM, and RBAC models.

  • You understand enterprise security, compliance frameworks, and governance requirements.

  • You have experience with observability, logging, and audit systems in distributed platforms.

  • You are comfortable working across engineering, security, infrastructure, compliance, and GTM teams.

  • You can translate complex enterprise requirements into simple, scalable, and adoptable product experiences.

  • You are familiar with SIEM tools and SOC workflows.

  • You have built or managed developer platforms or platform APIs.

  • You have experience supporting global SaaS deployments across multiple regions.

  • Experience with taking products through FedRAMP certification is a plus
