Responsibilities

We are looking for an exceptional DevEx Engineer to join our growing DevEx team.

We improve the developer experience for Workato engineers. We cover many different areas, and one week doesn’t feel like the other.

One day, we could work on optimizing CI pipelines, another on a code review bot, and then dive into k8s manifests to support a new component for dynamic environments.

However, it’s not only about the code and technologies. We need to talk with colleagues a lot, support them, and proactively search for time sinks and ways to eliminate them.

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

• 7 years of experience in the industry

• Of those, 3 years working with Ruby

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Experience managing Github Actions workflows (or other CI pipelines)

• (Strongly beneficial) Experience of creating k8s manifests

Soft Skills / Personal Characteristics

• Common sense

• Loving to work with people

• Building trust with other teams and navigating tradeoffs

• Being ready to switch the nature of your tasks every week and learn constantly

• Having a taste for good UX

• Reasonably aligned with the team's working hours in Western Europe
