The Opportunity 

WorkBoardAI's Customer Success team is expanding in Sofia, and this is a chance to be a part of the customer facing technical engine of that team. You will sit at the intersection of pre-sales and customer deployment — standing up demo environments that win deals, wiring enterprise integrations that accelerate go-live, and owning the provisioning and API work that makes our platform stick in complex enterprise environments. The technical work you do will translate directly into customer outcomes and revenue, and you will have real exposure to senior stakeholders at global enterprises from day one. 

 

The Role 

As a Solution Engineer in Sofia, you will span pre- and post-sales, working closely with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and Implementation specialists. In pre-sales, you are the technical proof that moves deals forward. In post-sales, you ensure customers go live fast, integrate deeply, and reach adoption milestones ahead of schedule. 

You bring an AI-first mindset and familiarity with Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and OKR platforms. You know how to translate technical depth into business value — and you are as comfortable presenting to a CTO as you are debugging an API integration at midnight before a go-live. 

 

What We're Looking For 

  • You have 3–5+ years in a technical customer-facing role: solutions engineering, implementation engineering, technical account management, or similar. 
  • You have hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, SSO/SAML, SCIM, and enterprise integration patterns — and you can configure, test, and troubleshoot them yourself. 
  • You are AI-first: you use AI tools actively in your daily workflow and can advise customers on where AI fits their operating model. 
  • Familiarity with OKR, SPM, or strategy execution platforms is a strong advantage — you understand how enterprises set and track their most important priorities. 
  • You are fluent in English and based in Sofia, available to come into the office 2 days a week. 
  • Experience supporting enterprise SaaS deployments in mid-market and large accounts is a plus. 

 

You'll Be Skilled and Super Effective At 

  • Standing up and customizing demo instances quickly — showcasing WorkBoardAI's full depth to prospects in a way that maps to their specific use case. 
  • Configuring SSO, SCIM, bulk imports, and permission structures across complex enterprise identity environments. 
  • Designing and building integrations with systems like Workday, Jira, Salesforce, and BambooHR. 
  • Writing and maintaining API-based solutions that extend platform capability for demanding customer environments. 
  • Navigating enterprise IT and security teams with confidence, and translating their requirements into a workable implementation plan. 
  • Turning patterns you see across customer deployments into repeatable playbooks the whole team can use. 

 

What You'll Achieve 

Within one month, you’ll:  

  • Become a daily user of WorkBoardAI and develop a deep understanding of the platform's AI, OKR, and integration capabilities. 
  • Shadow demo walkthroughs and technical evaluations with the sales team to understand how we win. 
  • Meet key customers — including accounts like Infobip, Renault Group, and AstraZeneca — and understand their integration and provisioning setups. 
  • Get to know the customer facing and product teams across Sofia, the US, and India, and understand how the pre- and post-sales motion fits together. 
  • Deliver your first demo to a WorkBoardAI teammate with confidence. 

 

Within three months, you’ll:  

  • Own demo instance creation end-to-end for at least 5 prospective customers, with demos tailored to their personas and use cases. 
  • Complete your first SSO/SCIM provisioning setups independently on 5+ enterprise accounts. 
  • Support 5+ integration projects (Workday, Jira, or similar), from requirements to go-live. 
  • Be the go-to technical resource for the Sofia CS&S pod — AEs and CSMs know to loop you in early. 
  • Have action plans in place to hit your Key Results for the first half of the year. 

 

Within six months, you’ll:  

  • Maintain a portfolio of configured demo environments the sales team relies on for every major deal. 
  • Own the provisioning and integration runbook for the team — a living document that makes every future deployment faster. 
  • Independently manage technical relationships with 10+ enterprise customers, with a track record of on-time, high-quality go-lives. 
  • Be contributing product feedback to the WorkBoardAI product team based on patterns you've identified across customer implementations. 
  • Have established yourself as a trusted technical advisor to at least 5 senior customer stakeholders
