Product Marketing Lead

US

About the role

As Workera’s newest Product Marketing Lead, your mission (should you accept) is to ensure our products "fly off the shelf."

Joining Workera at this pivotal stage, you’ll have the opportunity to shape how we position ourselves for growth and scale. You will be the 2nd member of our Product Marketing team, working closely with your leader to execute on the organizational goals. This role serves as the crucial link between product strategy and the sales and marketing tactics essential for success. While you might occasionally deliver demos or highlight product features, day to day you’ll serve as the glue that ties our product vision to actionable strategies, playing a critical role in driving successful product launches and sustaining sales momentum.

You’ll know what our competitors are doing today and anticipate what they’ll do tomorrow. But more importantly, you’ll know our buyers better than they know themselves—their pain points, decision-making processes, and motivations. This knowledge won’t come from guesswork but from market evidence, which you’ll use to craft compelling positioning and messaging. Your insights will empower our sales channels to engage buyers effectively and win deals.

About your team

As part of our marketing team, you’ll develop innovative programs to drive demand. Your success will depend on your attention to detail, ability to articulate our product’s value proposition clearly, and your knack for presenting how we solve our buyers’ problems in a way that resonates. You’re data-driven and results-oriented, tracking performance closely and adjusting tactics based on what’s working and what isn’t.

You’ll collaborate closely with Product Management, Sales, and other cross-functional teams. This role requires balancing competing priorities with strong diplomatic skills–we value discernment in our teammates. Your ability to foster collaboration and alignment across teams will be essential to achieving shared goals and driving go-to-market success. You will report to and work closely with our Director of Product Marketing, who empowers you to bring fresh and innovative thinking to the role and is committed to optimizing your strengths to help you grow and excel.

What You’ll Do:

In 3 months:

  • Market Intelligence Foundations: Conduct buyer persona research and document key insights on buyer needs, motivations, and decision-making processes. Deliver an initial competitive analysis outlining competitors’ positioning, strengths, and weaknesses.
  • Sales Enablement Support: Audit current sales collateral to identify gaps and deliver at least one updated asset (e.g., pitch deck, FAQ document, or ROI calculator). Partner with sales enablement to help train 50% of sales reps on product messaging and how to use updated collateral.
  • Launch Execution Prep: Begin implementing tactical elements of product launch plans, such as drafting messaging for email campaigns, updating product pages, or creating supporting assets. Work with cross-functional teams to create a timeline for upcoming launches.
  • Program Tracking: Set up systems to track campaign metrics (e.g., demo requests, content engagement, or webinar signups). Deliver a performance dashboard for ongoing visibility.

In 6 months:

  • Comprehensive Market Insights: Finalize in-depth buyer persona documentation and ensure it is being used across teams (Sales, Product, Marketing) to refine messaging and GTM strategies. Deliver a refined competitive analysis report with actionable recommendations for differentiation.
  • Sales Enablement Impact: Complete and deliver persona-specific sales enablement packages (e.g., brochures, one-pagers, or customer pain point guides). Collaborate with sales enablement to certify 100% of reps on updated product messaging and collateral.
  • Product Launch Execution: Successfully manage the implementation of at least one product launch plan, ensuring all assets (e.g., website updates, campaign materials, webinars) are delivered on time. Support the hosting of the first product webinar, helping drive measurable engagement and demo requests.
  • Program Tracking and Optimization: Analyze performance metrics from campaigns and provide actionable insights to refine marketing plans for customer acquisition and retention.

In 9 months:

  • Market Leadership: Use buyer and competitive insights to identify 2-3 market opportunities and propose refinements to messaging and GTM strategies in collaboration with the Head of PMM. Partner with the Growth team to develop messaging frameworks and proof points for 5 customer success stories.
  • Sales Enablement Systems: Establish a systematic process for sales to access enablement materials by deal stage (e.g., awareness, consideration, decision). Proactively gather feedback from sales to identify new opportunities for enablement resources.
  • Product Launch Excellence: Take ownership of the tactical execution for multiple product launches, working cross-functionally to ensure smooth implementation. Oversee post-launch analysis to assess outcomes and improve future launches.
  • Program Effectiveness: Provide quarterly campaign performance reports and recommendations to improve ROI and effectiveness. Track ongoing progress toward OKRs.

*Please note as we are a dynamic and quickly growing scale-up, things are always subject to change*

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
