Account Executive - Mid-Market

So, what will your new role look like? 

As a Mid-Market Account Executive at Workleap, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving business growth by acquiring new clients and managing key mid-market accounts. You’ll be the linchpin between our innovative solutions and prospective customers, guiding them through the sales process and ensuring they experience the full value of our products. 

Here’s what your responsibilities will entail:

Guiding Prospects: You’ll lead prospects through the entire sales journey, from initial contact to closing the deal, ensuring a seamless transition to the Account Management team.

Influencing Mid-Market Businesses: You’ll impact mid-sized businesses by demonstrating the value of Workleap’s products, including Officevibe, and tailor solutions to meet their unique needs.  

A typical week?

Your day-to-day activities will revolve around these key areas:

Prospecting & Lead Generation: 

  • Identify and engage new leads through cold calls, emails, and networking activities. 

Pipeline Management:

  • Review and advance deals through the sales funnel, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolving any obstacles. 

Discovery Calls & Demos:

  • Conduct discovery calls to understand prospects' needs and deliver tailored product demos. 

Customized Presentations:

  • Prepare and present customized presentations based on prospect information and their specific use cases. 

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with SDRs to ensure effective lead qualification and smooth transitions.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other teams to refine outreach strategies and align on objectives. 

Market Engagement: 

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics. 

Feedback & Product Mastery:

  • Provide insights and feedback to the product team to drive future improvements.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the product and its evolving features. 

Sales Metrics & Forecasting: 

  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics to ensure alignment with targets. 
  • Provide accurate revenue forecasts and contribute to strategic planning. 

Client Follow-Ups & Documentation:

  • Follow up with prospects post-demo to address questions and advance deals.
  • Complete documentation and reporting to ensure clear visibility into revenue performance. 

Weekly Review & Planning: 

  • Review weekly achievements, set goals for the upcoming week, and share updates with the team.

  • Sales Tech Stack: Our team leverages cutting-edge tools, including Gong, 6Sense, Intercom, Showpad, LinkedIn Navigator, and HubSpot, to drive success. 
  • Collaboration: Our SDRs/BDRs and AEs work closely together to generate leads, qualify opportunities, and close deals, consistently exceeding our sales objectives.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, consider the following qualifications: 

  • Sales Excellence: Minimum of 2 years of experience closing net new logos in the SaaS industry, preferably in HRTech. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas. 
  • Drive and Passion: Self-motivated with a hunter mindset. Driven to succeed and thrive on winning. 
  • Curiosity and Agility: Naturally curious, autonomous, and quick to learn new concepts. 
  • Consultative Approach: Excited to apply consultative sales strategies in a competitive market. 
  • Organization and Autonomy: Skilled at managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously. 
  • Sales Software Proficiency: Experience with CRM software (HubSpot preferred but not required). 
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Thrives on the opportunity to build business and achieve quarterly and annual goals.
