Job Description
So, what will your new role look like?
As the Senior Enablement Manager at ShareGate, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by empowering our Account Executives, Account Managers, and Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to win, upsell and retain clients. You will build and execute impactful enablement strategies designed to enhance our revenue teams' capabilities, improve sales efficiency, and maximize customer value. Your leadership in competitive insight gathering and dissemination will directly influence win rates and customer retention, significantly contributing to ShareGate's growth and market leadership, especially through strategic alignment with IT partners.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver targeted enablement programs that enhance selling skills, product knowledge, and customer relationship management for our Account Executives, Account Managers, and CSM teams.
- Build and iterate on playbooks that drive impact across the customer journey from client acquisition, upsell and renewal.
- Own and continuously optimize all ShareGate enablement materials alongside design teams, ensuring they are relevant, actionable, and aligned with revenue goals.
- Collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Revenue Leadership, Customer Success, and Partner teams to tailor content and resources that drive measurable results.
- Lead competitive intelligence initiatives with Product Marketing and Product Management, providing clear, actionable insights to revenue teams to inform strategic decisions and improve competitive positioning.
- Work directly with Channel Partners to understand their critical needs and build out the assets to improve our win-rate and market share.
- Utilize your deep understanding of IT professionals and channel partner dynamics to clearly articulate ShareGate's differentiated value propositions, particularly within the Microsoft 365 management landscape.
- Measure and improve enablement effectiveness using key revenue-focused KPIs, including increased win rates, asset utilization, training adoption, and customer retention metrics.
A typical week?
- Align with sales director on critical needs.
- Drive a roundtable with sellers on gaps
- Review competitive updates; Align with PMM on what to share.
- Share competitor insights.
- Record training video on new release features - share in appropriate channels.
- Align on critical projects with Marketing Director(s)
What does your future team look like?
Your direct team will consist of Product Marketers and the cutomer and lifecycle marketing team. You will also work with Revenue (Account Executive, Account Manager, Partner) and Marketing (Growth / Demand, Brand, Content).
What are the next challenges awaiting your team?
- Enablement is being rethought, there is a lot to do particularly in supporting partners to really reimage the value of ShareGate (new persona, messaging, training)
- Support account managers to have a better upsell conversation with clients, speaking to more business benefits and value.
- Competitive intelligence needs to be rebuilt - needs to be rearchitected by the right candidate
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enablement, sales training, product marketing, or related revenue-driving roles, ideally within SaaS or technology-focused organizations.
- Proven expertise in creating impactful enablement programs directly influencing sales performance and customer success outcomes.
- Deep familiarity with enablement best practices, methodologies, and tools.
- Demonstrated success working with sales, account management, and customer success teams, clearly understanding their unique enablement needs.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and collaborating across all organizational levels.
- Strong results orientation with proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously.
