Job Description

So, what will your new role look like?

Talent Development Advisor, you are responsible for putting in place the right structures and processes to strengthen our talent practices. Your role is critical to ensure the organization has the levers it needs to develop talent and achieve its goals. You will work closely with different departments and stakeholders to address the organization’s talent needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement talent management strategies and programs aligned with organizational goals, in collaboration with other teams in HR.
  • Identify skills gaps and design strategies to bridge them.
  • Contribute to upskilling programs based on business needs.
  • Design and implement leadership development programs to cultivate a pipeline of leaders and support succession planning.
  • Manage the design, implementation, and enhancement of programs/processes related to employee performance and engagement.
  • Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of talent programs; recommend improvements and share best practices.
  • Act as a Talent Consultant to HRBPs and business groups, providing expertise in development, succession planning, talent review, organizational development, and change management.
  • Support change management initiatives, including restructuring, mergers/acquisitions, and cultural transformation.

A typical week? 

A typical week blends strategy, design, and execution: you might partner with internal teams and managers to assess skill gaps, scope development projects, gather feedback or test new solutions. You contribute to AI adoption efforts, facilitate team workshops to drive alignment and engagement, and lead the design and delivery of leadership development and strategic initiatives. At its core, the work is about enabling people and systems to adapt, grow, and deliver measurable impact.

What does your future team look like? 

Your direct team will consist of 2 other senior Advisors who work very collaboratively. You will also work closely with the HRBP team, the compensation team and the communications team.

What are the next challenges awaiting your team? 

  • Review our performance management system to ensure calibration is very reliable and we truly embody the continuous aspect while collaborating with the product team on further development.
  • Organize our next Leadership Days - in person events dedicated to strengthening alignment and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Develop recommendations for organizational structures and programs to enhance career growth opportunities.

Qualifications 

  • A strong 4-5 years of experience in organizational design and development;
  • Change management reflexes and high adaptability;
  • Ability to simplify complex issues;
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills;
  • Experience in dynamic or high-growth environments;
  • Basic knowledge of leadership development;
  • Ability to measure impact and leverage AI when appropriate;
  • Fluent in English, with at least working proficiency in French (comprehension).
