Job Description

So, what will your new role look like?

As a Senior Back-End Developer, you will be at the heart of the internal platform initiatives on which all Workleap products are built. As part of an agile and dynamic team, you will explore new ideas, build prototypes and contribute to the development of a catalogue of services available to all developers as ready-to-use services to promote reuse, which will reduce development costs, shorten time to market and lead to a more advantageous return on investment. This is a unique opportunity to influence all Workleap products and evolve software development practices for all Workleap developers.

Responsibilities:

  • Explore promising ideas and rapidly develop prototypes to test different technologies
  • Work within a small team driven by a strong spirit of experimentation and rapid iteration cycles
  • Adopt a trial-and-error approach, viewing each attempt as a learning opportunity
  • Take calculated risks, gather early feedback, and adjust solutions to maximize impact
  • Work closely with developers in your team, other teams and technology leaders (staff and principal developers, managers and directors)
  • Guide the technical implementation of experiments, bridging the gap between exploration and industrialization
  • Identify high-potential ideas and select the right technologies to bring them into production

What does your future team look like?

You will join a multidisciplinary team composed of back-end software developers and a software development manager.

What are the team's principles?

  • Open software, open minds. We value collective intelligence and seek external contributions to help us achieve our goals faster and better.
  • We are humble. We actively listen to understand developers' challenges and needs, using their feedback to continuously improve our solutions.
  • We deliver value. We seek broad adoption by generating iterative, tangible, and compelling value for developers, not by forcing them to use our solutions.
  • Quality documentation and support are crucial. We don't stop at building a solution. We understand that the value of the platform is also reflected in the quality of the documentation and the help and support we offer to the developers who use it.
  • We act as a team. We embody a high-performance team spirit in order to move forward together toward an ambitious common goal and do everything possible to achieve it together. We tend to act and decide quickly.
  • We embrace AI as an essential component of the way we work and the solutions we deploy.

What are the next challenges awaiting your team?

  • Propelling Workleap into an era of AI-enhanced CI/CD.
  • Offering AI features for logging, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Accelerate developers in building features and products.

Qualifications

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in back-end development, ideally in a platform engineering-oriented environment;
  • Experience using AI tools in daily software development;
  • Strong command of back-end development in C#/.NET;
  • Ability to plan and lead projects from start to finish;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Solid knowledge of distributed cloud systems and DevOps CI/CD practices.

Who we are

We’re a team of curious minds and bold builders, brought together by a shared drive to make work simpler - and better - for everyone. Challenges fuel our creativity, fast-paced environments keep us sharp, and pushing boundaries is just part of how we operate. We believe the best ideas come from experimentation, rapid learning, and even the occasional discomfort - that’s where growth happens.

Since 2006, we’ve been rethinking the way teams work, blending creativity and tech to solve real problems in IT and HR. We move quickly, we learn constantly, and we always keep our customers at the center of what we do. If you're a proactive thinker who takes ownership, loves to collaborate, and isn’t afraid to leap into the unknown - you’ll fit right in.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
Page 1 of 1
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
