We are currently seeking a full-time highly motivated and creative professional with a minimum of 3 years’ previous experience in developing and managing BIM models in Revit. In this role you would support the BIM manager and work closely with architectural project teams, to manage BIM workflows, support project documentation, education initiatives, and implementation of firmwide architectural standards. All candidates must have advanced Revit and AutoCAD software proficiency.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Support the development of architectural working drawings in coordination with project teams and design requirements.
- Manage Revit library content including creating and modifying parametric Revit families and updating Revit template as required.
- Produce highly detailed BIM models and construction documents.
- Support all BIM related efforts throughout the office including:
- Support efforts to streamline and economize Revit templates, models and assets.
- Coordinate existing Revit assets and provide future roadmap for development.
- Assist in project delivery as needed.
- Mentor, train and align intermediate and junior Revit users
- Monitor and support the use of streamlined BIM protocols across the firm
Qualifications:
- Degree in Architecture or Design required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a BIM operator or CAD Drafter or similar role
- Good understanding of construction materials, building assemblies, case work and building products required.
- Proficiency with, Revit, AutoCAD, Enscape, Sketchup and other 3D modeling tools
- Rendering capabilities is a plus.
