
Growth Marketing Specialist

We are looking for a scrappy and data-driven Growth Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team! You’ll help generate qualified pipeline by executing across a range of email and LinkedIn outbound channels. In addition, you may experiment or support demand gen channels like paid search, paid social, webinars, and direct mail. You’ll be responsible for building and activating audiences, managing cross-channel campaigns, and working closely with Sales to convert interest into meetings.

Responsibilities
- Audience Building & Enrichment
- Develop prospect lists based on our ideal customer profile (ICP) using tools like Clay, Apollo, SmartLead, Lusha, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Identify and segment accounts and contacts based on firmographics, job titles, technologies used, and buying intent signals
- Clean and validate contact data to ensure high deliverability and minimize email bounces
- Intent Signal & Trigger-Based Outreach
- Monitor and act on intent data that is publicly available like new store openings, job change alerts, hiring job boards, and more
- Build and maintain lists of accounts showing recent buying signals or product interest
- Collaborate with marketing ops to align on trigger-based workflows and campaign logic
- Outbound Messaging & Execution
- Craft and send highly personalized outbound emails and LinkedIn messages that mirror a sales-style voice
- Test and optimize sequences and messaging based on performance metrics (open, reply, and demo rates)
- Leverage tools like Apollo, Meet Alfred, SmartLead, Instantly, or LaGrowthMachine to run multi-touch outbound cadences
- Lead Handoff & Sales Enablement
- Qualify and route positive replies to the appropriate sales team members with relevant context
- Maintain clear documentation and SLAs for outbound lead follow-up
BONUS
- Bonus if you also have experience with other traditional demand gen channels (direct mail, paid social, paid search, webinars, etc.)
Who You Are
- 1–4 years of experience in demand generation, growth marketing, or performance marketing at a B2B company (SaaS experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of outbound email, linkedin. Bonus if experienced in paid social, paid search, direct mail, and webinars
- Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing and optimizing campaign performance (open rate, reply rate, bounce rate, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable crafting casual-style messaging for both marketing and sales use
- Familiar with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Clay, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Apollo, Outreach, SmartLead, Instantly, Google Sheets, ChatGPT (or similar tools)
- Comfortable working closely with Sales, RevOps, and other cross-functional teams
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving new challenges
- Must be willing to report to the office up to 3x a week

Salary Range:
In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role is between $65,000 - $100,000 in San Francisco. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
