Job Description:

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive HR Coordinator to join our dynamic Human Resources team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our international teams by helping to deliver consistent and engaging employee experience across our global workforce, while ensuring compliance with local labor laws, HR best practices, and organizational objectives.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about international HR operations, compliance, and employee support, and will thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of seasonal and full-time international staff, ensuring a smooth and compliant process.
  • Coordinate background checks, orientation sessions, and new hire documentation for international employees.
  • Research and interpret local labor laws to support compliance in HR policies and practices across multiple jurisdictions, globally.
  • Maintain and audit international personnel records, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
  • Coordinate the creation and distribution of employment contracts in accordance with local legal requirements.
  • Support the rollout of HR policies and procedures across international teams and ensure the WorldStrides Intranet is up to date.
  • Liaise with local legal counsel on labor law updates, immigration matters, and employee relations issues.
  • Assist with compensation benchmarking, salary reviews, and global compensation planning and documentation.
  • Support benefits enrollment, tuition assistance, and administration for international employees.
  • Provide administrative support for HR initiatives and projects.
  • Help maintain HR systems and ensure data accuracy across platforms.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support employee engagement and development initiative.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
  • 1–2 years of experience in an HR support or coordination role; international HR experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and employment lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with international labor laws and HR compliance preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential, as this role involves frequent communication with global teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS systems.
