Job Description

Are you a strong communicator who enjoys connecting with people and opening doors to new opportunities? The International Business Development Representative role is a great way to build real‑world business experience while helping educators create unforgettable international travel experiences for their students.

In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for schools and teachers interested in educational travel. Through phone calls and email outreach, you’ll introduce WorldStrides’ programs, learn about educators’ goals, and identify strong opportunities for our Sales team to take forward.

What You’ll Do

  • Reach out to schools and teachers via phone and email to introduce educational travel programs
  • Identify and qualify potential leads by asking the right questions and gathering key information
  • Build interest and spark conversations about international student travel
  • Work with our CRM system to keep lead information accurate and up‑to‑date
  • Collaborate closely with Sales to help meet monthly and seasonal lead goals

 Qualifications:

  • Desired knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies
  • Desired work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications
  • Desired knowledge of customer service/sales principles and practices
  • Knowledge of outbound telephony and technology, not necessarily call center experience.
  • Six months or more experience in sales/lead creation/lead qualifying
  • Good data entry/keyboard skills
  • Familiar with office rules/office environment
  • Advanced English level (B2+/Above)
