Company Introduction

WorldStrides is the global leader in educational travel and experiential learning. The company was founded in 1967 to provide middle school travel programs to Washington, D.C. and has grown to provide a wide range of programs for more than half a million students annually to over 100 countries around the world. Job Description:

As an International Outreach & Lead Development Representative, you’ll be the first connection between WorldStrides and educators interested in taking their students on life‑changing international experiences. Your focus will be on outreach, research, and thoughtful conversations — helping identify teachers who are planning educational trips and guiding them toward the right next step.

This role plays a critical part in connecting schools with our internal teams by identifying strong opportunities and ensuring accurate, high‑quality information before handoff. If you enjoy meaningful conversations, organization, and working with international programs, this role offers a strong foundation for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reach out to schools and teachers via phone and email to introduce WorldStrides’ international education programs
  • Research, prospect, and qualify potential program leaders from our contact database
  • Ask targeted questions to understand educators’ goals and verify travel plans
  • Spark interest and maintain engagement with new contacts
  • Meet monthly and seasonal outreach goals
  • Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records within our CRM system
  • Develop a strong understanding of company policies, procedures, and offerings

 Qualifications:

  • Interest or foundational knowledge in business outreach, marketing, or lead development
  • Previous experience in customer contact roles such as outreach, promotions, telemarketing, or lead qualification is a plus
  • Comfort speaking with new contacts over the phone and via email
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience using computer applications and databases; solid data‑entry skills
  • Familiarity with professional office environments
  • Knowledge of outbound calling tools or systems (call center experience not required)
  • Advanced English proficiency (B2+ or higher)
  • Experience
  • 6 months or more of experience in roles involving outreach, lead generation, or client qualification preferred

Work Perks:

  • Fun & driven environment.
  • Excellent medical, dental, and vision coverage, life, accidental death and dismemberment, accident, critical illness, and disability insurance.
  • +10% of gross salary as food stamps.
  • 1 paid volunteer day & 25 PTO* days to start – accrue up to 28 over 3 years, 4 mental health days, and 5 bereavement days.
  • Statutory Holidays by Mexican Federal Labor Law.
  • Tuition reimbursement up to five thousand, two hundred fifty dollars annually or one thousand dollars towards professional certification annually.
  • Flexible work schedule providing on-site and hybrid opportunities.
  • Encouraged participation in our Employee Resource Groups and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion council.
  • Fitness opportunities.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Paid statutory parental leave
