Business Development Manager

About WorldQuant BRAIN:
BRAIN is a group within WorldQuant similar to a traditional B2C fintech setup. Our mission is to simplify quant finance and provide global remote-work opportunities to participants, while they learn quant finance, AI and ML concepts. WorldQuant Brain provides an advanced crowdsourcing platform for external participants to contribute signals, data, and more.
The Role: Our Vietnam office is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead, grow and engage WQBRAIN users base in Vietnam.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Define the territory’s growth strategy by working closely with BRAIN global leadership and WorldQuant’s Vietnam head to build the WQBRAIN brand
- Develop case for new growth initiatives
- Handle operations including user management – includes acquisition, onboarding, engagement, support and lifecycle support
- Engage with internal and external partners to implement growth plan
- Drive execution of key initiatives like promotions, competitions etc.
- Lead key global initiatives and craft standard methodologies across WQBRAIN locations
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree from recognized colleges and institutions
- 5 years+ of relevant experience in business strategy, marketing and operations related work with a consistent track record of building/scaling a B2C business or online community
- Product experience: proven positive impact on user onboarding, conversion, growth or engagement metrics
- Experience in quant or finance domains/industries would be a plus
- Ability to work independently and as an integral member of the team
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and prioritize in a fast-paced and multifaceted environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
