THE JOB.

We’re looking to hire a Coordinator, Audience Strategy, to join the team and partner closely with our growing roster of clients geared towards underestimated (multicultural) audiences.

The Coordinator, Audience Strategy will be an organized, detail-oriented creative strategist supporting client needs, team projects, and overall operations and administrative duties.

This role reports to the Senior Director, Audience Strategy, and assists in developing and executing impactful solutions with audience insights at the core, and never settles for checking the box. 

This role requires someone very familiar with all the social platforms with a background in social media marketing. Marketing agency experience is strongly preferred. Entertainment industry experience a plus.

THE TEAM.

The Audience Strategy team partners deeply with our client partners to provide them with innovative and impactful ways to initiate connection, spark conversation and ultimately drive advocacy with target audiences based on their lived experiences.

When it comes to the canvases this team paints on, they don't limit themselves by a certain function or marketing mix diagram. The audiences WORTHI is trying to reach on behalf of our clients do not live in boxes, so we do not think in them either. The Audience Strategy team are experts when it comes to social/digital, print, OOH, paid media, content, copywriting, brand partnerships, creator/influencer relations, and so much more.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Own and lead administrative duties (i.e. note taking and circulation internally and to clients, developing call agendas, managing schedules, travel booking, expenses, etc.). 
  • Assist team in shaping digital strategies that include content creation, community growth, measurement and analytics, and more.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive insights, and opportunities for client projects.
  • Actively shares learnings in actionable ways with the Audience Strategy team from content, culture and data consumed. (This person will know what’s happening on the timeline, the creators and influencers who are meaningful to various audiences, and the latest trends and social applications.)
  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be needed based on client needs.

Qualifications: 

  • 1+ years of social media strategy/management and/or digital marketing.
  • A true mix of right and left brain talent -- the ideal candidate is a problem solver at heart, and seeks to solve said problems with insights, curiosity and creativity.
  • Knowledge of, passion for, and experience actively targeting Black, Latinx/e, AAPI, LGBTQ+, people with disabilities and other historically marginalized audiences. 
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms and up to date on industry + platform trends (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X/Twitter, etc.)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, both inside the walls of WORTHI, and for our client partners (strategy decks, new business pitches, client agendas, social copy, etc.)
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and highly collaborative with excellent time management skills.

Pay Range

$55,000-85,000 USD (dependent on skills, experience, and competencies)
