We're looking for a Part-Time Clinic Aide to support our clinics and the patients we serve. We’re looking for team members who are deeply committed to helping children thrive. This is an opportunity to work with a remarkable multidisciplinary team, to support children’s growth and safety, provide support to a team of dedicated clinicians, and to be supported in your personal and professional growth.
Compensation and Benefit Information:
- $15-17/hour based on experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build genuine relationships with children
- Support teammates by providing respite care to children with disabilities during staff breaks
- Maintain a well-kept, clean and organized learning environment
- Observe all rules, policies and procedures at Woven Care
- Sample Daily Schedule: 9:00am-12:15pm, lunch, 1:00pm-3:30pm
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- Safety Care certified or willingness to obtain
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 18+ years of age
- Clear Background Check
- Previous childcare experience required (nanny, childcare provider, teaching assistant, babysitting etc.)
- Previous special needs childcare preferred
- Skills:
- Must be able to play with children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem solving abilities.
Schedule and Location and Duration:
- 9:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday availability
- Pueblo, CO
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, such as materials, data collection tools, or therapeutic equipment used during sessions.
- Must be able to assist clients with physical mobility challenges, including helping clients move between areas (e.g., from a chair to a table, or from one room to another) if necessary, and occasionally providing physical support for activities as outlined in treatment plans.
- Must be able to sit on the floor or crouch for extended periods during client sessions, as well as stand or kneel for activities that involve children or clients with specific behavioral interventions.
- Must be able to stand, walk , and/or run for extended periods during client care or while monitoring and interacting with clients.
- Must be able to maintain physical activity for an entire shift, including walking, standing, and participating in active therapeutic activities.
- Must be capable of quickly responding to emergency or crisis situations, including running, carrying, or supporting clients during behavioral emergencies (if applicable).
- Must have clear verbal communication and active listening skills, as the role requires frequent interaction with clients, families, and team members. Must also be able to communicate effectively in high-pressure or emergency situations.
- Ability to work in different settings within the clinic, including therapy rooms, break rooms, and common areas, and may need to move or adjust environmental factors (e.g., furniture, equipment) to meet clients' needs.
