Why we're hiring:

Our People team are seeking a Junior Global Mobility Manager to join them in this exciting new role. The Junior Global Mobility Consultant will play a crucial role in supporting the GM Team in executing the company's mobility programs across WPP and it’s agencies. The ideal candidate will possess some previous experience in global mobility, good stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing:

Reporting to the Head of Global Mobility, your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor our group GM mailbox, including evaluating, triaging, allocating or responding to queries as they come in
  • Provide basic guidance to various stakeholders on standard queries regarding various global mobility topics (e.g., permanent transfers, short term assignments, cross-border remote work)
  • Execute defined steps in the relocation and assignment process (e.g. calculating cost estimates, preparing draft relocation letters)
  • Initiate, coordinate and track services via external vendors (e.g., relocation services, tax and immigration providers) to ensure a seamless employee experience
  • Maintain internal case trackers for the team and produce management reports
  • Manage the vendor invoice review and payment process
  • Actively support and collaborate on global mobility process improvements and transformation topics
  • Various support activities (e.g. updating our GM intranet site, managing IT access rights and contact lists)

What you'll need:

  • Previous experience (2-3 years) in global mobility and HR
  • Good understanding of global mobility practices and the associated compliance implications (e.g., tax, social security, immigration)
  • Very good interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with the team, external vendors and other stakeholders
  • Ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment, setting priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Strong IT skills and familiarity with relevant tools used in mobility management and data analysis
