We have identified the need for an Assistant Manager reporting to the Manager of IT Compliance. This role will be primarily responsible for the monitoring of IT Compliance ensuring that all agencies/brands are complying with Group Policy, Controls and Regulatory requirements, leading control assurance and reporting, and providing advisory and support 

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead the implementation and enhancement of IT compliance programs, including risk assessments, control testing, and monitoring activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify compliance gaps and develop remediation plans to address deficiencies.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on IT compliance matters, providing guidance and support to your team and departments.
  • Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and industry trends, assessing their impact on IT compliance obligations and recommending appropriate actions.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits, including the preparation of documentation, responding to inquiries, and facilitating audit activities.
  • Assess the effectiveness of IT controls and security measures, recommending enhancements and improvements as needed.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of IT compliance processes, procedures, and controls to support audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate and recommend compliance-related tools and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of IT compliance activities.
  • Conduct periodic risk assessments and gap analyses to identify areas for improvement in IT compliance processes and controls.
  • Ensure alignment of IT compliance activities with overall audit goals and priorities through collaboration with internal audit teams.
  • Provide guidance and support to IT teams on the implementation of security controls and measures to address compliance requirements.
  • Support the development and maintenance of IT compliance documentation, including policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.

What you'll need:

  • 3 or more years' experience in IT and IT risk management.
  • Demonstrable experience and understanding of IT risk management frameworks (e.g. COBIT).
  • Hand-on experience with SOX obtained through either an assurance or compliance role.
  • Good knowledge of IT and the key technologies used by large corporates (Windows, Office 365, Cloud)
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to apply appropriate judgement and initiative.
  • Communication skills including the ability to explain technical complex issues in a concise and business-focused manner.
  • Pragmatic problem-solving and ability to work in a complex global environment.
  • Ability to drive areas to closure and ensure results.
  • Ability to interface/negotiate with internal and external auditors in support of the organization.
  • Knowledge with Cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP).
