Why we're hiring:

We need a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer to be responsible for multiple production and corporate environments in the cloud and on-prem.  Serve as technical and operational support for Technology Infrastructure for a variety of locations, departments and operating systems.  They are professionals who design, implement, and manage cloud-based systems for production environments.  They develop and implement cloud-applications, migrate existing on-premises applications to the cloud and debug cloud stacks.  They focus on equipping our employees with secured tools to be successful, and providing outstanding service to our customers (both internal/external).

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborating with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.
  • Modifying and improving existing systems.
  • Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.
  • Designing, developing and deploying modular cloud-based systems.
  • Developing and maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
  • Ensuring efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
  • Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
  • Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Interacting with clients, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs.
  • Ensure that solutions and security comply with all client and other security requirements, and participation in audits
  • Mentor Support tiers 1 and 2 on security best practices
  • Root cause analysis (trouble shooting)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and security practices
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Azure DevOps)
  • Data Loss Prevention (DLP) operations
  • Security Log daily operations
  • Disaster Recovery
  • encryption technologies
  • mobile Device management – MAM/MDM(InTune)
  • Able to clearly communicate status of efforts to resolve problems and take ownership
  • Self-sufficient with analytical skills requiring minimal supervision
  • Must be available to work weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Lite travel throughout year.
  • On-call rotation
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

What you'll need:

Qualifications:

 

  • 5-8 years of experience in IT
  • Customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Efficiency and the ability to follow processes and direction
  • Attention span and focus are critical for some repetition
  • Organization
  • The capability to creatively approach problems not covered by existing procedures.
  • Significant experience, ideally in the healthcare or financial industries, with building and running a highly secure network.  HITRUST experience highly desirable.
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.  Equivalent work experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

 

General Knowledge/Skills:

  • Ability to learn on the fly.
  • Strong organizational skills. Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cloud infrastructure and security for major cloud service providers (CSPs) such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Service (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Ability to accept constructive internal comments.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented office.
  • Proven success working with various team interactions and stepping in as needed to cover peak workloads.



 

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving business needs and technology landscapes.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance (HITRUST, HIPAA, SOC II, etc.)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Azure DevOps)
