We're looking for a driven Procurement Category Manager to lead the charge in our global Corporate Services category. What you'll be doing:
- Strategic Orchestrator Take the reins for subcategories within Corporate Services, creating and executing strategies that improve spend, minimise risk, and ensure we're getting the best possible services. Think everything from consultancy spend to research & insights to corporate cards.
- Master Negotiator: Lead high stakes sourcing initiatives, wielding your negotiation skills to secure winning contracts with top suppliers. You'll be the architect of deals that deliver maximum value for WPP.
- Influencer & Connector: Build powerful relationships with partners across the business, becoming their trusted advisor on all thing’s procurement. You'll understand their needs and promote solutions that align with our global vision.
- Contract expert: Draft, develop and execute high-performing output focussed contracts which ensure WPP gets the very best results from their third-party spend.
- Market Visionary: Stay ahead of the curve, immersing yourself in market trends and emerging technologies within Corporate Services. Your insights will inspire creativity and unlock new possibilities.
- Process Innovator: Test the status quo and contribute to Improving our procurement processes, making us leaner, faster, and more effective.
- Data-Driven Strategist: Leverage data to track goals, providing insightful analysis and recommendations that shape our procurement strategy.
What you'll need:
- Proven Success in Procurement: A track record of delivering impactful procurement solutions within Corporate Services categories.
- Effective Communication and Negotiation: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
