As a Finance Business Partner within the Tech Ops team of Enterprise Technology, you will play a vital role in managing and providing commercial support for Global Infrastructure projects, Cloud Spend, and broader operational initiatives. This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of WPP's technological evolution.

What you'll be doing:

As a Finance Business Partner, you'll collaborate closely with the Technology Operations leadership team to understand their operations, enhance financial performance, and achieve strategic commercial goals. You'll be responsible for:

• Financial Planning & Analysis: Own the financial forecasting, planning, and reporting for Infrastructure and Cloud spend, simplifying today's complex landscape.
• Commercial Support: Provide expert financial guidance during contract negotiations, ensuring optimal value for WPP.
• Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong relationships with Finance and Technology teams to gain a deep understanding of business models and technology needs.
• Cost Optimization: Continuously identify cost optimization opportunities across operations, vendor spend, and agency synergies, working closely with our Finance Transformation Lead.
• Financial Control: Ensure rigorous financial control across purchasing, accounting, and overall performance.
• Compliance: Champion compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, protecting and enhancing WPP's value.
• Risk Management: Navigate a complex, high-stakes environment with significant financial, commercial, and reputational implications.
• Reporting: Support the Senior Finance Business Partner, Tech Ops in producing insightful monthly reports for senior leadership in Finance and IT.
• Month-End Close: Assist with the production of monthly actuals.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a remote Junior Finance Business Partner.

What you'll need:
