What does a Vice President, Client Partner do at Hogarth?

Hogarth Health Studios is seeking a Vice President, Client Partner focusing on content and omnichannel Excellence. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving the strategic evolution of content development and delivery for a significant portfolio of J&J brands.

The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of strategic foresight, deep operational understanding, and exceptional organizational leadership skills. You will be instrumental in help build and optimizing our team, driving significant content transformation, and ensuring seamless, impactful omnichannel experiences for our clients. This role requires a leader who can thrive in an agile and collaborative work environment, managing complex production delivery projects/campaigns from inception to completion while maintaining composure under pressure.

While this role has a strong strategic and content transformation focus, it also encompasses key account management responsibilities. You will maintain mutually beneficial relationships with clients and manage account finances for your assigned business.

This VP position will supervise the imbedded client teams at both the Horsham, PA and Titusville, NJ offices. Therefore we request this VP position be onsite 3 days a week and be flexible to travel between both locations as requested. 

What you’ll do: 

Strategic Leadership & Vision

  • Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for all content development and omnichannel initiatives
  • Be a key architect in defining and implementing the future of content in pharma, moving beyond traditional approaches to embrace innovative and scalable solutions
  • Drive the strategic evolution of content development within the agency, leveraging new technologies and methodologies for digital omnichannel pharma

 

Organizational Transformation & Team Leadership

  • Lead the comprehensive rebuilding and optimization of a critical team, fostering a high-performance culture rooted in collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Identify talent needs, mentor leaders, and empower the team to excel in a dynamic environment
  • Effectively manage and develop team members, providing coaching and mentorship to direct reports and the broader agency team

 

Client Partnership & Account Management

  • Serve as a senior client partner, building and nurturing strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including those outside the core brand team (e.g., regulatory, medical, legal)
  • Provide strategic recommendations to clients (i.e., positioning, branding, content strategy) and establish creative direction
  • Manage complex client expectations, identify growth opportunities within the existing portfolio, and ensure the delivery of exceptional value
  • Articulate a thorough understanding of client business to offer solid client counsel and actionable solutions
  • Manage account finances and develop/manage client budgets

 

Omnichannel Excellence & Innovation

  • Oversee the development and execution of sophisticated, large-scale omnichannel content strategies for a diverse portfolio of J&J brands, ensuring alignment with client objectives and market needs
  • Champion the implementation of advanced content strategies, including derivative content models, and contribute significantly to the development of new service offerings that enhance our competitive advantage
  • Recognize untapped opportunities to help clients grow their business

 

Cross-Functional Integration & Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership across strategy, creative, and production teams to integrate content excellence into all facets of our service offering
  • Work with production leaders to ensure operational efficiency while driving strategic innovation and managing escalations
  • Successfully integrate efforts with agency partners, providing effective communication in small groups and on pitches
  • Strategically evaluate creative and provide constructive feedback

 

 

 

 

Industry Thought Leadership

  • Act as a key liaison and thought leader, engaging with industry partners, including the Content Transformation Excellence team at J&J
  • Leverage these relationships to inform our strategic direction and maintain our position at the forefront of pharmaceutical content innovation

 

Agency Growth

  • Regularly identify business opportunities to generate additional income opportunities within the assigned accounts

What You’ll Need:

  • A minimum of 8+ years of advertising experience, with a minimum of three years in pharmaceutical/healthcare
  • Proven track record of leading and transforming large teams, ideally within an agency or complex organizational structure
  • Deep expertise in content strategy and omnichannel marketing, with a demonstrated ability to anticipate industry trends and translate them into actionable plans, particularly within the pharmaceutical sector
  • Extensive experience in digital omnichannel pharmaceutical marketing, with a comprehensive understanding of regulatory environments and industry nuances
  • A strong understanding of content production processes and operational efficiencies is crucial for effective team leadership and collaboration
  • Exceptional ability to build rapport, foster relationships, and connect people across teams and organizations (both internally and with clients)
  • Demonstrated success in leading organizational change, rebuilding teams, and navigating complex challenges with a positive and solution-oriented approach
  • Outstanding communication skills: oral, written, and interpersonal, including the ability to provide strategic recommendations and constructive feedback
  • Possess a thorough understanding of client positioning and competitive market forces
  • Ability to work on-site in Titusville, NJ and/or Horsham, PA 2-3 days a week
