We're seeking a Senior Instructional Designer to lead this learning revolution, designing highly effective, engaging, and behaviorally informed learning experiences focused on AI ways of working and our Agentic E2E vision.
What you'll be doing:
As a Senior Instructional Designer, you'll leverage learning science and innovative methodologies to design and deliver transformative learning experiences for our new AI-enabled marketing platform. You'll execute instructional design projects, optimizing every touchpoint for immediate application, performance improvement, and organizational change, enhancing both Client and Employee Experience. You'll collaborate closely with researchers for data-driven design.
You Will:
- Design Performance-Driven Learning Ecosystems: Contribute to the end-to-end design of dynamic learning ecosystems that prioritize just-in-time support, workflow integration, and performance enablement for our AI platform. Apply advanced learning theories to create impactful solutions, shifting from traditional training to continuous, embedded learning. Design diverse modalities (micro-learnings, performance support, e-learning) tailored for rapid upskilling and continuous improvement, proactively identifying AI-related skill gaps.
- Drive Strategic Collaboration & Integration: Collaborate with Behavioral Designers to integrate motivational strategies and nudges, driving engagement. Partner with Service Designers to ensure seamless platform adoption and ongoing utilization, making learning an invisible part of the workflow. Champion embedding micro-learnings directly into workflows for upskilling and platform fluency. Leverage insights from dedicated researchers (analytics, user research, performance data) to inform design.
- Design and implement learning experiences in the workflow: (Just in time, micro learning) optimizing the experience for better adoption.
- Measure Impact & Optimize: Evaluate learning interventions through robust assessment, focusing on performance outcomes, skill gap reduction, and workflow efficiency. Contribute to defining and tracking KPIs related to platform fluency and the direct impact of learning on new ways of working, ensuring continuous optimization.
Reporting To: Lead Instructional Designer (who reports to the Senior Director, Strategic Design). Team: Change and Enablement Location: Berlin or London.
What you'll need:
- Experience in Instructional Design, Performance Consulting, or Instructional Architecture, with a proven track record in large-scale enterprise technology rollouts or organizational transformations focused on performance improvement.
- Extensive experience with authoring tools and LMS/LXP, particularly integrating learning into workflow tools.
- Deep expertise in adult learning principles, performance support methodologies, and instructional design models for global enterprise change, with a focus on just-in-time and workflow learning.
- Exceptional content development, writing, editing, and visual design skills for creating compelling, immediately applicable learning materials.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical information (especially AI ways of working, Agentic E2E vision) into clear, engaging learning experiences that address skill gaps and enhance Employee/Client Experience.
- Strong understanding of leveraging learning analytics, performance data, and research findings to inform design and identify skill needs, with experience collaborating with research teams.
