Conducting Strategic Sourcing, Market Intelligence, Opportunity Assessment, Spend Analytics, Contract Analytics, Category Strategy development support, Contract Extension & Renewals, spot buys, tactical sourcing, market engagement and buying channel optimization, tail spend management, executing projects through GEP S2C platform, perform risk, governance & compliance checks, supporting procurement operations etc. and thereby optimize the way we source & procure and generate value.
What you'll be doing:
- Should be proficient in Strategic Sourcing: Analyzing spend data, creating internal & external category profiles, Market intelligence reports, Opportunity assessments, devising category strategies, identifying sourcing levers for respective categories, analyzing costing for a product or service, conduct structured supplier negotiations, understand the nuances of contracting and executing the same with suppliers in co-ordination with legal teams, managing statutory compliances and sustainability requirements etc.
- executing projects through GEP Source to Contract platform, performing procurement risk, governance & compliance activities, supporting procurement operations activities etc.
- Experience working on reputed S2C platforms shall be appreciated specifically GEP S2C.
- Day to day performance of procurement activities, managing workloads and priorities, co-ordinate with the team and escalating/reporting to sourcing & procurement manager on a regular basis.
- Ensure high-quality stakeholder engagement both internal (procurement) & external (suppliers, agencies, business contacts).
- Support Team Lead in managing agreed objectives/deliverables and provide timely & appropriate update until project closure.
- Collecting, communicating and documenting requirements from stakeholders
- Execute strategic sourcing projects in co-ordination with category teams and sourcing & procurement manager.
- Analyze buying patterns, volumes to determine appropriate buying channel e.g. catalogue, Pcard, PO purchase, etc.
- Providing specialist administrative support from beginning to end of a tendering project/RFP ensuring the integrity of the process.
- Keeping an audit trail for each project and ensuring required documentation is in place
- Providing a professional, efficient and effective response to stakeholders when handling clarification questions and responding to other enquiries

What you'll need:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience into Strategic Sourcing & Procurement.
- Excellent command on Advanced Excel
- Experience of working collaboratively
- Experience of communicating and working with stakeholders
- Ability to problem solve and demonstrate critical thinking
- Appetite to learn and develop
- Knowledge of sustainability
