Why we're hiring:

We are looking for a Workday Reporting Consultant with strong reporting & analytics experience to join the Workday Services Team providing application support.

Reporting to the Workday Services Reporting Lead, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into actionable Workday reports and providing insights that drive business decisions, and accountable for ensuring that WPP’s Workday reports are stable and supported. Your role will grow as we further deploy and expand our Workday coverage across WPP.

This is an exciting and varied role working with the wider Workday Services team and our Workday partners to provide a world class level of Workday support and development on a day-to-day basis and in support of Workday project deployments.

The Workday Services team provides the post go-live support and enhancement of the Workday solution that replaces some of our core technology and influences our ways of working for many of our colleagues at WPP.

What you'll be doing:

Support and Incident Management:

  • Manage and resolve BAU tickets related to Workday reporting, including incidents, service requests, and change requests.
  • Ensure timely and accurate resolution of reporting issues to minimize business disruption.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all Workday reports by conducting thorough data analysis and validation.

Report Design and Development:

  • Develop and maintain a wide range of Workday reports, including advanced, matrix, and composite reports, to meet business needs.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into Workday reports that provide actionable insights.
  • Customize Workday standard reports as needed to suit specific organizational needs.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated on the latest Workday reporting features and functionality, continuously improving your skills and the quality of reports delivered.
  • Proactively suggest enhancements to existing reports and reporting processes to better serve the organization.

What you'll need:

Experience:

  • Strong experience in Workday report writing or a similar role.
  • Proven experience in creating advanced, matrix, and composite reports in Workday.
  • Experience in using ticketing tool like Jira, ServiceNow

Technical Skills:

  • Highly proficient in Workday Report Writer and related tools.
  • Awareness of Workday Prism and the ability to build and manage Prism pipelines is desirable.
  • Solid understanding of data modelling and report optimization techniques.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, accurate reports.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
