Brief Description
- Will be working for maintaining a pipeline of online & offline campaigns from the planning, implementation and reporting with the team.
- Will be closely working with the local vendors, the local client team and the global team to have the best proposals to tackle the client challenge
- Will work closely with the local marketing client teams to manage the several campaigns. For the global client you will also be closely connected to APAC + Global teams to ensure consistency and learnings across other markets globally.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain close and trusted relationships with local media vendors / partner companies / co-workers and branch overseas, based on excellence in service and execution
- Cycle through multiple campaigns at any given time and ensure plan is fast and accurate.
- Maintain clean documents and plans across all partners and campaigns while working with the other planning team member to ensure all data and information are captured accurately
- Be the day-to-day person for all things planning to support across the media planning team. Helping to support across online and offline media.
- Support across the process from; research, planning, execution, reporting, optimizations, and insights.
Hard Skills expected
- 1-3 years’ experience in media planning or a planning role working in or supporting a media agency, client, or brand directly. Digital media planning skill will be a plus.
- Hands-on-keyboard experience with local media partners, analytics tools (Google Analytics) and other platforms and tools such as YDN etc. Very comfortable / adoptive to learn new platforms.
- Experience in DoubleClick tools (GCM), verification tools (IAS/DV), and offline media will be a huge advantage
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
- Japanese Native + Business Level English
Soft Skills Expected
- Detail-oriented, comfortable with large sets of data, spreadsheets, processes
- Collaborative team player with a consultative approach working with cross-functional and internal teams
- Curious and inquisitive; investigative with the ability to diagnose and creatively problem-solve an issue
- Efficient time management skills; ability to work on multiple projects while meeting deadlines
- Native or fluent level Japanese in for business, basic level English, ie – Intermediate Writing and reading, basic speaking and hearing for English and Fluent level Japanese in Speaking, Reading and Writing
- Positive and flexible interpersonal skills required working closely with coworkers and in local / overseas, command for local vendors in the dynamic environment
Measures of success
In three months, you would have:
- Familiarized with the client team structure and ways of working
- Established an understanding of the client’s ad tech stack and how they all fit together
- Successfully managed several campaigns from set up to launch, and reporting process
In six months, you would have:
- A full understanding of end-to-end campaign processes, demonstrated through accuracy and volume of campaigns managed
- Built up the trust and developed a solid working relationship with local Mindshare teams
- An extensive understanding of all platforms used, and the ability to identify and resolve issues
In 12 months, you would have:
- The ability to be fully independent, with the ability to maneuver through the process through developed tricks and shortcuts
- Have a thorough understanding of all things Mindshare and GroupM – awareness of how our products and services affect ad operations and vice versa
