The Role:
The Project Manager works closely with the client's Program Owner, Producers and external vendors to cross-functional project manage across different stakeholders in Marcom and Segment Marketing, ensuring the readiness of multiple mini projects with respective deliverables and activities leading up to a unified launch. It's important to have steady and reliable project management skill, attention to details and ability to keep high-level view, as well as flexibility and proactive communication with DRIs for each project deliverables, in both JP/EN.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the basics of client service including creating and updating agendas, timing plans, resource management and contact reports
- Discuss with Client Producers and Program Owner weekly status of projects noting down milestones and flag any potential delays/missing pieces.
- Communicate the briefs to the production teams, and ensure that the correct creative direction is being taken
- Identify deliverable requirements and indicate additional instructions on briefs
- Coordinate with internal teams and third party vendors on brief specifications, project requirements and resource availability, assigning tasks to required based on the timeline and provide clarification if required
- Act as a brand QC/Guardian – always ensure brand guidelines, QC checklists and procedures are followed
- The ability to write, prepare and present project documentation, presentations and reports
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in project management and/or account manager gained working on global retail and/or shopper accounts, from creative development to final production
- Good knowledge of print, digital artwork and photo/video productions processes and best practices; including web site builds, POS, Motion Graphics and email marketing
- A flexible, creative, solution-oriented self-starter with a hands-on, can-do approach to solving problems
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, in both Japanese and English
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking ability and passion for the work are essential
- The ability to prioritize and work quickly and efficiently within tight time frames
