Role Summary and Impact
An exciting opportunity to join our fabulous Digital PR team, where you will be influential in leading and increasing our business growth. We’re looking for an experienced DPR, who will hold a key role in the development and ongoing management of the Digital PR function within the agency.
We’re looking for someone with previous experience in SEO and Content Marketing, who can recognize the function of Digital PR within Search. You will be responsible for promoting the Digital PR function to drive client growth and maximize the ability of the function within the agency network.
You’ll work closely with the Content Marketing Business Director will be expected to guide Digital PR knowledge across the team to fully leverage their skills. As a senior lead within a digital role, you will be encouraged to contribute in developing the team, it’s processes and strategy.
About the role
The candidate will be responsible for leading our Digital PR team alongside our Content Marketing Business Director. Managing a team of Account Managers and Executives, and reporting into a Business Director, you will deliver best practice strategy for your accounts, setting the standards for delivery and driving results for your clients. The ideal candidate will be able to use their own initiative in setting up processes and expectations for the team; you will lead by example with your proactive approach to challenging the status quo, pushing yourself, your team, and your client to achieve the best results.
Key responsibilities include:
- Be responsible for the output of your team, both clients and operational
- Be the central senior client contact for your client portfolio, confidently able to liaise with senior stakeholders both internally and externally
- Apply SEO best practice to the delivery of our product
- Lead by example with a proactive approach to interrogating your client’s performance
- Develop training material and lead the development of your direct reports
- Maintain a forward-thinking approach and make proactive suggestions to improve our offering
- Play an active role in the recruitment and interviewing process to build a strong team
- Regular maintenance of talent mapping and career path development for your team
- Work with HR and finance to ensure accuracy for our product and people
- Ensure briefing, planning and finance processes are strictly adhered to by the team
- Work with BD and HR teams to develop and maintain training plans to plug any skills gaps around the team
- Take the lead on integration projects across the department and wider agency
- Understand resourcing and FTE distribution
- Contribute to new business pitches and process by creating templates and resources usable in all pitches
- Commercially driven and forward thinking in the expansion of business opportunities
- Entrepreneurial in mind-set and always looking to develop incremental or new services both centrally and locally via new opportunities and revenue streams

Key skills & knowledge:
- Exceptional executional SEO, Content and Digital PR experience; using data and insight to develop successful end to end content marketing strategies for your clients
- Data driven – you love using data to inform your strategic thinking
- Proven experience of improving organic performance for your clients
- Extensive experience using SEO and Digital PR tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, Roxhill, Buzzstream, Vuelio
- Good commercial acumen with ability to accurately scope and identify opportunities to help your clients grow, in turn growing your account revenue
- Strong process capabilities, with an ability to monitor account service levels and support with finance and recruitment processes
- An understanding of how SEO & Content can integrate with other digital and offline channels
