Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for market planning, developing synergies across multiple markets, building publisher relationships, and engaging in business conversations with the client in the media and beyond. We are seeking someone with regional experience in an agency, with a strong focus on brand and performance planning, along with expertise in stakeholder management.

Responsibilities of the Role

  • Proactively plan and implement digital development and growth for the client.
  • Support key functions, including but not limited to Strategy, Media Planning, and Reporting.
  • Develop strategy and digital channel recommendations to ensure delivery against set targets.
  • Work with people across markets to address client briefs and contribute to building strategic responses.
  • Conduct periodic conversations with new and upcoming vendors to understand capabilities and build “Test and Learn” initiatives linked to business needs.
  • Work closely with the team to build proposals, including fine-tuning budget allocation, weights, phasing, and site mix for media plans.
  • Stay on top of local market nuances and competitive insights to build POVs that support the client’s business strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with Media and Brand teams to maintain a complete view of new and upcoming campaigns.
  • Build strong relationships with key clients.

 

Measures of Success

In three months:

  • Demonstrate understanding of the media landscape and business challenges and begin contributing ideas to drive client success.
  • Streamline media plans across both traditional and digital channels.
  • Contribute to market/regional drumbeats with POVs or strategic inputs.
  • Understand drumbeats/cadences across the region to build synergies.
  • Begin developing relationships with key day-to-day team members, clients, and media partners.

In six months:

  • Proactively engage with MediaCom global and regional teams to identify relevant applications/testing opportunities for new products and services.
  • Proactively engage with external partners to identify relevant alpha/beta products.
  • Act as a collaborative partner, engaging with people at all levels.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, or annual strategy reviews for the client.

In 12 months:

  • Lead strategy and media planning efforts for the brands on a quarterly, half-yearly, and annual basis.
  • Delivery two business breakthroughs for the client, helping drive efficiencies and increased profit.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 3–5 years of media planning experience.
  • Proven experience delivering actionable strategies; strong storytelling skills in verbal and written form.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders (e.g., vendors, media owners, and brand teams).
  • Strong communication skills – English is our global language.
  • Ability to manage daily communication with global and local publishers.
  • Understanding and aptitude to translate existing and upcoming technology trends into media/business solutions.
  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented approach, with a natural affinity for numbers and analysis.
  • Ability to leverage data visualization tools such as Power BI and Google Data Studio (preferred).
