Skills and Experience

Responsibilities of the role:
•Provide advanced analytics reports utilising respective tools (ad servers, web analytics platforms, CleanRooms), to be used for optimisation.
•Deliver audience- based strategies (e.g. rules based segmentation), for media activation.
•Create custom data driven attribution models for client digital campaigns
•Develop client advanced omni-channel measurement solutions such as cross-device, offline to online, crosschannel etc.
•Design & Setup A/B tests for implementation with the respective buying teams.
•Utilise log data to build algorithms for media targeting & delivery (e.g. Custom bidding)
•Contribute actional insights to post campaign analysis reports for clients.
•Manage project timelines and deliverable schedules, communicate with stakeholders & raise issues with the Analytics Director as required.
•Provide training & support executives in both their responsibilities and developing new capabilities to become a future manager.
•Support the Analytics Director with Partner/Vendor management, including internal global teams.
•Any other ad-hoc projects or tasks relevant to the position.
•Build a great working relationship with your team, market teams and client team, operating seamlessly together to deliver success for our clients, across the briefing, booking, set up, optimisation and reporting processes.
Measures of Success –
In 3 months:
•Thorough understanding of the WPP Media Services Data & Tech processes and commenced utilizing in their day- to- day tasks & projects
•Developed strong working relationships with all team members and relevant stakeholders (e.g. agencies, partners, GMS buying teams).
In 6 months:
•Has gained any outstanding accreditation/certifications of relevant technologies utilised within the WPP Media Services Data & Tech team.
•Commenced supporting the GMS buying & Campaign Delivery teams, and has identified opportunities to add value with our Reporting & Analytics services.

In 12 months:
• Delivered advanced analytics projects (eg C4M - Cloud for Marketing) across a number of key client campaigns.
• Built comprehensive models that have resulted in improved ROAS across GMS buying activity.

Required Competencies: (Knowledge, Skills, and Attitude)
• 1-2 years of experience in a people management or supervisory role.
• Thorough understanding of online marketing (specifically search, social & programmatic) & digital media metrics
• Proven ability to extract insights from data and present findings.
• Advanced dashboard/visualisation capabilities (Tableau, Datorama, PowerBI)
• Strong SQL experience & has worked with at least one of the major DBMS (SQLServer, MySQL or Postgres)
• Exposure to Front-end web development (HTML, CSS)
• Exposure to Web API development (PHP, Java, C#, Python, cURL)
• Demonstrated capabilities working with media data within ad servers (CM360, Sizmek) DSP's (DV360, TTD) and clean rooms (ADH preferred)
• Accreditations/Experience utilising web (eg GA360, AA) & App analytics (eg Firebase, Appsflyer, Kochava) platforms.
• Highly organised, detail orientated, QA-focused with demonstrated project management capabilities
• Flexibility to work in a cross-functional team but also have the initiative to problem solve independently
