Role Summary and Impact

The OOH Buying Manager specializes in OOH media and will handle a portfolio of WPP Media clients.

Skills and Experience

INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan and buy OOH media space and manage relationships with key OOH media owners across offline media.
• Recommend the best buying and negotiations strategy to the Campaign Delivery team.
• Interact with Campaign Delivery team and media partners to ensure delivery of goals.
• Collaborate with WPP Media internal stakeholders as and when required, in the interest of campaign objectives.
• Support the WPP Media MM&D team in meeting the client’s reporting requirements.
• Manage client budgets and deliver on annual media KPIs.
• Review team’s mid and post campaign inputs and include actionable insights and analysis to improve in- flight optimizations and future campaign brief recommendations.
• Oversee team’s performance and control quality of their work.
• Any other project or tasks as assigned from time to time.


GROUP RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure team understanding of clients’ brand, WPP Media Agency’s deliverables and campaign KPIs.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve and enhance clients’ campaigns and advise WPP Media Agencies accordingly.
• Proactively address, and when needed escalate, any issue that compromises the quality and timeliness of deliverables.
• Work collaboratively across teams and stakeholders to deliver value to clients.
• Ensure cross-functional collaboration by demonstrating openness to new ideas and interest in learning from colleagues with different expertise.
• Conduct quality control and assurance of the own and team’s workstream before handing it over to other specialists.
• Ensure team understanding and 100% compliance with finance processes, WPP Media policies and procedures.
• Continuously expand and share knowledge and understanding of new trends, media channels and technologies
