About the role
As the Associate Director of Analytics, you will help the Analytics (North America) team be accountable for quantifying and measuring the success of our executions and for delivering insights that enable us to innovate the work we deliver at MFG to our Google client.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media agencies working with brand and direct response campaigns, A/B test design + measurement, and experience working with large cross discipline teams. This role is crucial in driving our agency's data-driven decision-making process and ensuring our clients' success.
Importantly, this candidate will help lead and mentor a high-performing analytics team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement for a new hub in Bogota. You will be partnering with team members in New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles, and helping to create continuity between the various teams.
Some of the things we’d like you to do:
- Work closely with the regional analytics team in two major capacities:
- Helping lead day to day operations within the assigned North America Product Area (PA) team.
- Providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of learning and improvement among the core Colombia team, and extending that culture to the global regions.
- Work closely with other departments to integrate analytics into all aspects of campaign planning, execution, and evaluation
- Be seen as a trusted advisor by our clients for all things analytics related. Collaborate with clients, understanding their unique needs and delivering tailored analytics solutions.
- Recruit, manage and mentor Analytics resources, ensuring the efficient flow of work through the team, the timely delivery of high-quality outputs and their continuing development as professionals.
- Successfully collaborate with internal as well as external teams for data integrity, reporting, testing, ad-hoc analysis and more.
- Lead the design and measurement of brand and/or direct response campaigns, ensuring they meet client objectives.
- Develop and implement match market tests (MMT), analyzing results to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
- Present complex data and analytics findings in a clear and actionable manner to clients and internal teams.
- Lead the creation of clear, robust and thought-provoking analysis reviews and insights.
A bit about yourself:
- Bachelor's Degree from a top-tier college, 3.0 GPA or equivalent. Degree within Analytics, Technology, Economics or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience working in a business analytics-focused role, preferably within a media agency
- Statistical Background
- Quantitative Analysis
- Media Agency preferred; analogous client/partner

- Experience managing a team and ability to delegate effectively
- Proficiency with SQL (other programming languages like Python are a plus)
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint (Google docs a plus)
- Expose to measurement of both Direct Response and Brand Awareness campaigns
- Excellent at presenting data in a visually engaging and insightful manner that cuts through the noise
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Strong understanding of what data points can be collected and analyzed in both digital and offline media campaigns, and how each data point should be analyzed
- Strong data visualization and presentation skills
- Established and professional communication, presentation, and motivational skills
