Role Summary and Impact
This is an exciting opportunity to join the EssenceMediacom team as an Account Executive, working on one of the world's most iconic and innovative brands: adidas.
Sitting within the central adidas EU Brand Planning team, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of major, pan-European campaigns for flagship categories Running, Football and Streetwear. Your impact will be felt across 18 European markets as you support the team with both exemplary account management and foundational communications planning.
You will be instrumental in maintaining smooth ways-of-working between the client, our specialist Digital and Social Hubs, and local country teams. This hands-on role involves leading key team processes, including the end-to-end finance cycle, coordinating campaign launch updates, and managing internal and external meetings. You will be a vital communication link, ensuring the timely and excellent delivery of all requests and client work.
Beyond core operational excellence, this position offers a fantastic platform to develop your strategic communications planning skills. You will contribute to strategy projects, campaign reports, and post-campaign analysis, using industry-leading tools to unearth insights that shape our work. This is a foundational role for an ambitious individual looking to build a career in media, offering a unique blend of strategic exposure and operational expertise in a fast-paced, collaborative, pan-European setting.

Within this team, we are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about starting a career in the media industry. While direct agency experience is not a prerequisite, we are looking for a candidate who is eager to learn and demonstrates the following attributes:
- A genuine passion for media, advertising, and the adidas brand. You are culturally curious and interested in the worlds of sport, fashion, and entertainment.
- Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail. You are someone who thrives on keeping multiple projects and processes on track in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, self-starting attitude combined with a collaborative spirit. You are comfortable taking the initiative on tasks while being a supportive and reliable team player.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build relationships and articulate information clearly to different stakeholders.
- A logical and numerate mindset. You are comfortable working with data and have a natural ability to identify and solve problems.
- A strong desire to learn and develop. You are curious, ask questions, and are eager to build your knowledge of media planning and the wider industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, would be an advantage.
