 Role Summary & Impact

As an Associate Business Director – Offline Media Activation, you will lead the activation and execution of large-scale offline media investments across TV, Print, and Radio, Events, and Content Integrations. You will be responsible for translating media strategies into cost-efficient, high-quality execution, managing senior stakeholders, and driving value through planning, partnerships, and delivery excellence.

This role offers the opportunity to work on one of the most prestigious and demanding global accounts – Google, providing unmatched exposure to high-impact campaigns, marquee properties, and complex media ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end offline media planning and execution for high-value brands, ensuring delivery against agreed KPIs, timelines, and budgets.
  • Evaluate and activate impact properties, events, sponsorships, and content integrations aligned with campaign objectives.
  • Partner closely with Business, Investment Team, MPlan/Ad Ops, Finance, and Compliance teams to ensure seamless execution and audit readiness.
  • Manage and mentor Managers and Senior Managers, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and delivery discipline.
  • Act as a senior client-facing stakeholder, confidently discussing planning/execution strategy, delivery status, and optimisation opportunities.
  • Proactively identify innovations, alternate inventory opportunities, and efficiency levers within offline media.

Measures of Success

In the first 3 months, you would have:

  • Gained deep understanding of the Google account structure, priorities, and offline activation requirements.
  • Built strong working relationships with internal teams (Business, Investment MPlan, Finance) and key media partners.
  • Taken ownership of live campaigns and ensured smooth delivery and compliance.

In the first 6 months, you would have:

  • Independently led planning for all offline planning and delivered measurable cost efficiencies.
  • Established clear activation processes and governance to manage scale and complexity.
  • Become a trusted point of contact for the client on offline execution matters.

In the first 12 months, you would have:

  • Built and led a high-performing activation team with strong delivery discipline.
  • Contributed to long-term activation strategy, innovation roadmap, and partnership development for the account.

Skills & Experience

  • 7–10 years of experience in offline media activation / buying within a leading media agency.
  • Strong hands-on experience across TV (primary), Print, Radio, Events, and Content deals.
  • Proven planning skills with a track record of delivering savings and value-adds.
  • Deep understanding of planning process, CPRP, inventory dynamics, seasonal inflation, and delivery optimisation.
  • Experience managing mid-to-senior teams and working with senior client stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail, strong commercial acumen, and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
