Role Summary and Impact 

Choreograph is seeking a (Associate) Director, Data Strategy (Agency/Client(s)/ Market) who will play a pivotal role in supporting our Data Strategy team to drive adoption of the Open Media Studio (OMS) Platform across GroupM agencies and clients, accelerating the use of data to inform brilliant advertising strategies. They will help our Agency and Client Data Strategy leadership to manage agency’s clients' satisfaction, commercial health, and their understanding of our platform, solutions, and consulting services.

They will help to manage all aspects of delivery operations within our Data Strategy team to ensure that our delivery of client solutions to existing and new clients is exceptional, expertly executed and drives the very best experiences for our clients and agencies. You will be responsible for program managing and coordinating RFI responses and other Choreograph required contributions to the pitch process and will support Data Strategy leadership across current accounts by drafting solutions designs and demoing our OMS platform to clients and agencies. You will drive adoption plans and education for clients and agencies in service of achieving OMS adoption across our entire client base.  You will become an expert in our products and capabilities in service of the success and adoption of OMS across clients and agencies.

What you will do

  • Support Data Strategy for Clients: It all starts and ends with data. What questions do you want data to answer? What data do you have? What data do you need? And how will you use that data to rationalize your decisions? You will be responsible for leveraging Data Strategy personnel assigned to help our clients answer these questions. The Data Strategy team is responsible for setting the foundations for smart, audience-led and analytically driven media plans and advertising tactics that deliver client outcomes.
  • Drive Platform Adoption: You will work with Data Strategy leadership in the growth of the Choreograph platform by supporting adoption of Open Media Studio platform across agencies and clients. This will include managing Choreograph responses in new business acquisition and supporting and coordinating across existing client and agency teams (including up-selling and cross-selling).
  • Drive Agency Engagement: You will be the face of Choreograph to some of our agency partners, leading engagement efforts with clients. You will be responsible for a steady educational cadence with key agency employee cohorts to build knowledge that translates to growth through platform utilization and services upsell. This includes promoting our platform, capabilities, partnerships, and solutions.
  • Support Solution Success: You will play a supporting role for the performance of the solutions we provide, ensuring our products deliver to client goals. You will draft solutions designs, deliver walkthroughs and demos of OMS and coordinate Open Instance and OMS deployment and configuration, leveraging your interactions to identify additional use cases and feedback for our product teams.
  • Engagement Plans: Alongside your direct leadership you will develop, maintain, and execute detailed engagement plans to guarantee client success, taking a proactive approach to addressing their unique needs.
  • Product Partnership: You will become an expert in our Products and Platform, with a deep understanding of our technical capabilities and responsible for communicating them to both internal and external audiences.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay at the forefront of industry trends and technologies and provide thought leadership that sets Choreograph apart as an industry expert.

 

Skills and Experience 

  • Client Leadership: Demonstrated experience in a client management role within Adtech or Advertising or a closely related field, in a highly matrixed organizational structure showing a track record of successful outcomes.
  • Technical Expertise: A deep understanding of data products, technology, and trends within the advertising and marketing industry with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Consultative Selling: Understanding of consultative selling, with the ability to understand client needs, articulate the value proposition of our platform, and tailor solutions to meet those needs effectively and communicate the business value of our platform.
  • Customer Focus: A relentless focus on customer success, with a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences and driving long-term relationships.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, as this role hinges on effective interaction with clients and agency partners.

 

We would strongly favour candidates with the following:

  • Demonstrable experience of driving technology adoption in a SaaS/PaaS environment
  • Experience designing and/or deploying data strategies with large, multi-line or multinational brands for paid media and advertising
  • Experience working with large marketing agencies.
  • Familiarity with WPP ecosystem.
