Role Summary and Impact

As the Associate Manager, Planning, you will be a key figure in steering our clients' media investments toward success. Your impact will be measured by the strategic quality of your plans, the flawless execution of campaigns, and your contribution to the team's growth.

  • Client Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients on all matters related to media strategy, planning, and performance.
  • Strategic Planning: Lead the development of comprehensive, data-driven media strategies and integrated campaign plans that align with client business objectives.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of campaigns, from initial brief and implementation to post-campaign review and analysis for your assigned brands.
  • Performance & Analytics: Establish clear campaign KPIs, develop measurement methodologies, and ensure all projects are tracked and measured to provide actionable insights and demonstrate ROI.
  • Partner Collaboration: Work closely with key media partners, vendors, and internal teams to negotiate and plan implementations, ensuring a seamless and effective execution process.
  • Innovation: Stay current with the latest digital trends and changes in the media landscape, proactively updating clients and integrating innovative solutions into media plans.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior team members, fostering their professional development and ensuring operational excellence across the team.

Skills and experience:

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in digital or integrated media planning, preferably within a media agency, client-side, or media owner capacity.
  • Strategic Outlook: A strong background in digital media with a strategic mindset and the ability to develop comprehensive media strategies.
  • Technical Proficiency: Solid experience in media planning and buying across all digital platforms, with hands-on experience of advertising technology platforms (e.g., ad servers, DSPs, Facebook Ads Manager).
  • Client-Facing Skills: Demonstrated success in a client-facing role, with excellent presentation, reporting, and communication skills in both English and Vietnamese.
  • Leadership & Teamwork: Proven ability to manage multiple projects and integrate large teams. Experience in coaching, guiding, and developing junior team members is essential.
  • Analytical Mindset: A passion for data, insights, and ideation, with the ability to set viable objectives, recommend measurement methodologies, and ensure campaigns meet agreed-upon KPIs.
