Role Summary and Impact
As a Senior Media Planning Associate, you will drive the end-to-end execution and optimization of media campaigns for a leading global financial services client, ensuring strategic alignment and measurable results across key objectives such as brand growth, usage, and customer engagement. Leveraging your digital media expertise (SEM, social ads), you will develop robust implementation plans, conduct competitive and category analysis, and track campaign performance against KPIs. Your impact will be critical in delivering data-driven media strategies and high-quality client-facing outputs, working closely with regional and global stakeholders within a collaborative WPP team environment.

Core responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive media implementation plans from briefing through post-buy.
- Manage the full lifecycle of media campaigns, ensuring strategic alignment and optimal media mix.
- Conduct competitive and category analysis to identify market trends, consumer behaviours and media opportunities.
- Generate regular, insightful performance reports with actionable recommendations.
- Assist in rigorous tracking of campaign performance against agreed KPIs.
- Monitor media efficiencies and identify areas for optimization.
- Contribute to data-driven decision-making for continuous campaign improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams, other agencies and clients to ensure seamless campaign delivery.
The Candidate:
- Preferably 2 years of experience in digital media planning and/or implementation, ideally within a media agency environment
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with SEM, Social Ad Campaign Managers & Analytics tools is preferred.
- Fast learner with a proactive mindset, able to work at speed in a dynamic environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
- Strong ownership and accountability in campaign execution, with high attention to detail.
- Analytical and data-driven, with a strong interest in working with numbers and performance data.
- Able to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders including internal teams and clients.
- Clear and confident communicator, able to support client meetings and presentations.
- Curious and eager to continuously develop digital media skills and platform knowledge
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
