Role Summary and Impact
We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented AI and Automation Performance Lead/Director to spearhead our intelligent automation and AI initiatives. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving business transformation by leveraging AI and automation to enhance performance channels, efficiency, and innovation across the organization. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong performance background and a proven track record of leading successful AI and automation projects.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive AI and automation strategy that aligns with our business objectives. Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities for AI and automation across all departments.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of performance specialists capable of using AI to enhance their day-to-day tasks. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable and robust AI and automation solutions. Ensure that all solutions are integrated seamlessly into WPP OPEN.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of AI and automation initiatives. Continuously monitor and analyze performance and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Implement and enforce a robust governance framework for AI and automation, ensuring compliance with all relevant security and data privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and to champion the adoption of AI and automation. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner.
- Stay at the forefront of the latest advancements in AI and automation. Identify and evaluate new technologies and tools that can be leveraged to drive business value.
Skills and Experience
- 8+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, and automation, with at least 5 years in a Performance roles
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale AI and automation projects.
- Experience in building and leading high-performing technical teams.
- Expertise in AI, machine learning, and natural language processing (NLP).
- Understanding in programming languages and basic coding
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
