Role Summary And Impact 

Strategic Media Planning Development: 

  • Conduct in-depth audience research, competitive analysis, and market trend assessment to inform media strategy. 
  • Assist in the development of comprehensive media plans, including channel mix recommendations, budget allocation strategies, and flighting schedules. 
  • Formulate hypotheses and propose innovative media tactics to achieve specific campaign objectives (e.g., brand awareness, lead generation, sales). 
  • Develop media rationale and provide data-driven justifications for proposed strategies and channel selections. 

Performance Forecasting & Goal Setting: 

  • Collaborate on setting realistic and measurable campaign goals (KPIs) and develop performance forecasts. 
  • Contribute to the identification of key success metrics and measurement frameworks for campaigns. 

Plan Implementation Oversight: 

  • Translate approved media plans into detailed tactical execution guides and liaise with activation teams (internal or external) to ensure accurate setup. 
  • Provide strategic guidance during campaign setup and launch, ensuring adherence to the approved plan. 
  • Monitor campaign performance against planned objectives, identifying any deviations and informing strategic adjustments. 

Reporting & Strategic Insights: 

  • Analyze campaign data from a strategic perspective, identifying opportunities for future planning improvements and long-term strategy shifts. 
  • Develop client-facing reports and presentations that clearly articulate campaign performance against objectives, insights, and forward-looking strategic recommendations. 
  • Present media plans and performance insights to internal teams and clients, articulating the strategic rationale. 

Vendor & Platform Evaluation: 

  • Research and evaluate new media partners, platforms, and technologies that align with client objectives and strategic opportunities. 
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the evolving media landscape to continually enhance planning capabilities. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

  • Partner closely with creative, analytics, and client services teams to ensure media strategies are integrated and aligned with broader marketing initiatives. 

 

Skills And Experience 

  • 3+ years’ experience in digital/media execution and planning, client-side in-house team, or media owner capacity. Media agency background is preferred. 
  • Good communications skills with basic English skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail and comfortable working with numbers and data. 
  • Eager to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to work multitasking under high pressure. 
  • Basic understanding of the industry, business, brands, and consumers in the Vietnam landscape 
  • Hands-on experience of advertising technology platforms (ad servers, DSPs, Facebook Ads Manager …) is a strong plus.
