Role Summary and Impact

The Tax Analyst is primarily responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of tax obligations in accordance with current regulations, while maintaining rigorous control over current tax assets. This role plays a critical part in the company's financial compliance, involving the preparation, issuance, and reconciliation of various tax certificates (mandate, retentions for suppliers, and collection from clients), as well as supporting the preparation and submission of national and territorial tax declarations (IVA, ICA, retentions). The impact of this position is crucial for mitigating financial risks, guaranteeing regulatory adherence, and ensuring the accurate and timely presentation of statutory information to tax authorities. The analyst's diligence directly contributes to the company's legal and fiscal stability, supports financial transparency, and helps prevent penalties through meticulous control and proactive management of tax processes.

Skills and Experience

Education:

• Professional degree in Public Accounting (Contaduría Pública).

Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in tax compliance processes.

Knowledge/Skills:

• General knowledge of National and District tax regulations.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Preparation and submission of National and District (Bogotá) taxes using various tax authority platforms.
• Planning, execution, and submission of national and district exogena information for both natural and legal persons.
• Reception, organization, and accounting of financial documents.
