Role Summary and Impact
We are looking for a curious, enthusiastic media exec to join the Boots Retail Comms Planning team and work across all areas of the Retail account which covers Health, Beauty and Seasonal retail moments.
This is a supporting role where you will get exposure to different elements of Comms Planning – from the work that goes into understanding the market and competitor landscape of the sectors Boots operates in, to the research and insight mining which builds our understanding of relevant audiences and their media behaviours, to media planning fundamentals and working on campaign activation with a wider team of channel specialists – and gain experience in client account management and servicing.

This is an entry level role so, whilst agency experience will be useful it isn’t critical. In order to build good relationships internally with the wider team and externally with clients, become knowledgeable about the media landscape and develop a working understanding of the campaign planning lifecycle you will need:
- to have an appetite to learn and develop and demonstrate this by active participation in planning, market and media initiatives, sharing and discussion and reaching out to others to proactively upskill yourself
- to contribute to team culture of clear and open communication, supporting and helping others and willingness to learn

- to have excellent organisational skills being able to manage a diverse workload across multiple stakeholders, work at pace and are able to appropriately prioritise tasks
